Chris Matthews is an incredible jerk

He's a complete you know what

This is going to be the story on Weds, so congratulations to Chris Matthews for making himself into a story by being a jerk to an unprepared legislator from Texas who supports Obama.  For those who didn't see it, he asked the guy if he could name an accomplishment by Obama in the Senate and the guy couldn't do it.  So what?  Do you have to be an expert on Senate law history to support a candidate?

Anyway it was the last gasp for the Clinton campaign.  They converted Matthews and now they've got this clip to use as fodder.  He's probably got the same establishment fetish that Michael has.  We can list Clinton's accomplishments--including handing the keys over to W to wage war in Iraq.

Chris Mathews is a total freak. There is something mental going on there. I saw the interview when he was telling Fred Thompson how nice he smelled.

The liberal outrage over that prompted him to apologize on the air.  Are you making some kind of joke here that I don't get?

It's a fair question.  Matthews is wierd, no doubt about it, but I like the fact that he rakes people over the coals occasionally.  Too often the press asks idiot questions instead of digging like they should.

Obama should make sure that his supporters have good answers for this question.  It's a good time to be hit with this sort of question, just before the real fight starts.

Really? You have a Democratic politician who supports Obama and he has no clue concerning his accomplishments, none? I can understand the average voter being under informed but a politician chosen to advocate for this candidate?

The fact is that Matthews has been a jerk to Dems for a long time. Now that Hillary has been disposed of by the "liberal" media it will now focus on destroying Obama. All of a sudden they have discovered Obama's inexperience, his unwillingness to vote on many issues, his so-called"Islamic" ; heretige, his militant wife, questionable business deals etc.

Imagine what its going to be like after the convention. Suddenly Obama will be the "black" candidate who cries racism every time he is criticized. It worked on Hillary amongst liberals but it won't work in a general election. The Dems have lost their best chance at winning the white house since 2000.

Why do you think the pubs have been voting in our primaries? Why have the pubs been outspoken in their support for Obama? Polls mean nothing. They know who they can beat

I'm not sure what planet they are living on now, at least you've admitted that she's out of it.  I just heard Dick Gephardt say that the "American people are going to come to their senses by May or June and give up on hopeful speeches."  Hillary is the establishment candidate, and people are sick of the establishment.  Lynn Samuels makes it sound as though all of a sudden the Presidency will be immediately neutered because he doesn't have enough "experience" in her eyes.  This is complete crap--the President and his adivsers set the policy of the Administration and the country.  I like Obama's positions on almost everything that I care about.  He will, as president, by definition have the power to make the necessary changes.  His previous actions in the Senate are at that point completely Moot (unless he can't get them to work with him, which would seem absurd considering Ted Kennedy's endorsement.)  Also he's going to have a Dem congress and Senate, so things WILL get done.  Clinton would have simply moved things back towards the center.  Obama is the real liberal of this bunch of candidates, and he's the one who Americans want to run the country.

Obama's gonna lose!  Anyone we put up is gonna lose!  The Republicans always win!  They know who they can beat (even though the same people who say this said the same thing about Hillary when she was the frontrunner)!  Everything sucks!  Let's all go kill ourselves because we have no chance of anything ever working out in our favor.  Ever...
Wah!

Sorry to disappoint but I supported Edwards and I will support Obama if he is our nominee

Where have you been? Seems like you disappeared for about a year?

I disagree that Obama will perform worse than Hillary in the general election. In fact, I think he will do much better than Hillary.

You probably remember me as the meanest Republican you ever met. But when Barack Obama gave his speech about needing Hope after his father abandoned him when he was two years old, I had tears in my eyes.

Republicans like Barack Obama: Rush Limbaugh, KenTX, Karl Rove, all of us. He is the most likeable candidate since Ronald Reagan. George Bush proved that politics is a game of likeability.

I don't know if you've heard or not, but we Republicans don't like the Clintons.

I voted for Obama in the Texas Primary. I want him to beat Hillary. There are millions of Republicans doing the same thing that I did.

We know that Obama has a good chance of beating us in November, but we don't care. Clinton Inc must be stopped, come what may.

What's up buddy. Yeah I took a break but I am back. Nice to know you still love the Clintons. I wonder why would a true american conservative like you be so "for" the liberal obama and so against "against" centrist clinton. Wouldn't have anything to do with them being 2-0 versus the pubs in presidential elections would it?
Or are you growing soft in your old age?

The Liberal Ken tx "I like it"

Uh, ok, yeah, there is that, uh, I guess you're right.

Plus, we believe Americans are ready for an African American president who wants to raise our taxes, give us socialized medicine, and bring all the troops home to the U.S.

Don't you?
