Public talk of Obama Assassination???

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit

This is the beginning of a smear campaign that is designed to hurt Obama.  I have the Counterintelligence to fix it!

Now that MSN.com has come out with a story that "EVERYBODY" is worried about Obama, I think that we should come up with another "Worry" that will counteract this one.  Remember the riots of 1992?  Well, what if this time, WHITE PEOPLE...wait wait, & BLACK PEOPLE & INTERRACIAL PEOPLE all rioted if Obama got shot?  ;)  Wouldn't that be scary?  I'm SOOO worried that everyone will riot!  The streets will be crazy.  It will be like the Rodney King riots gone nuclear.  I'm just sayin.  I think the riots will scare Republicans into forgetting about whatever they were talking about before ;)

Instead of talking about riots and a counter intelligence plan to fix it.  Maybe we should bring the issue to the public's attention, so if something happens the government knows we are watching them.   It is time to stop thinking like a Republican and start acting like Progressives.   Pour a little sunlight on the problem so we can fix it.

There is no problem!  I'm saying that there is no more threat to Obama than to any other president.  Hell, there was supposed to be a movie about Bush's assassination, but somehow it didn't make it to theaters near you(or me...personally I would have watched it).  My point is that it's a tactic to scare people out of voting for Obama.  There is even mention of "black people NOT voting for Obama to protect him?"  I happen to be black(among other things), and I have never heard of such a thing.  I have heard of not voting for Al Sharpton becau se he's a lunatic, and I wouldn't want him as President if he were white.  I've heard of not voting for Jesse Jackson because, he too is a little crazy, and although he is good at bringing people together, he is not right in the head when it comes to some political issues.  I think it's obvious when a black community's vote is being discounted, and basically they are saying that all black people care about is whether Obama gets shot or not.  I hate to say it, but I read between the lines, and that's what's there!  Prove me wrong, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PROVE ME WRONG!  That would make me happy!

My worst fear is losing another great leader to assassination.   I have lived through the assassination of JFK, MLK, and RFK, and would not want to go through that again.  I am just saying we should look at this as a security issue and bring this to the publics and governments attention so they will increase security.

I understand your fears, and have had the same myself.  Amazingly, I always used Bush as an example to cure my own paranoia.  I figured, if anybody was hated the most in history, it is this guy, and he made it 8 years fine.  That's why I don't think it's as much an issue for Blacks and everyone else as NYT, and MSN are trying to make it out to be.  Obviously, NYT is out to prove that they are not biased, in light of the McCain story.  They publish a story seemingly sympathizing with Obama's situation, right?  That's exactly what they want us to think, and then we all believe it's a legitimate worry again.  We can't fall for it!  The counter-intelligence was half serious half tongue in cheek.  If Hillary was being protected before Barack, why wasn't the story about Hillary published first?  You see what I'm saying?  It's all calculated, and it's a shame that this issue is surfacing, but I think it will backfire and help Obama.

what pacifist, hippy, second amendment hating lib would have the balls to take out someone he didn't like?  He'd trip over his dreadlocks or get the munchies and forget what he was doing.

That assumes he wouldn't be too busy chaining himself to a tree to save some "endangered" ant or throwing soy milk on some lady's fur coat.

Thanks for your post...I have a few thoughts...

First of all, Bush selected Cheney as VP because he knew noone would be crazy enough to shoot him and have old Dick as Prez...probably the smartest move Bush ever made :)

Secondly, I understand the press and their need for sensationalism, but I do think there is a legit concern for Obama as he becomes the nominee and President. Just look at recent assassinations in History. Its not your brutal and heartless dictator types getting themselves shot. Its your MLK, RFK, JFK, Gahndi, Bhutto...the list goes on. These were people that stood for many of the same things Obama purports...change. Change is a scary concept to establishment types, and certainly to the people who hold the real power (corporations).

Im not going to delve into conspiracy here, but Obama fits the bill nicely as to follow this unfortunate pattern. Its not cause hes black, its because he seemingly challenges the very power structure that has been established... Just like all of those listed above...

Think about it...Any thoughts?

I'm a little concerned, probably because I watched a documentary on white supremacists in America a couple of months ago (those people are so f*ng dumb and disgusting BTW).

Then again, someone tried to take out Reagan (old Republican white guy).

The obvious answer is that only fans of Jodi Foster should be wiretapped and then we have nothing to fear.

PS---The idea that someone would avoid voting for Obama because of this is just stupid.

Hitler- didn't die

Bin Laden...who knows
need I go on?
I think the Black community always points at the government as being the finger behind the trigger anyways, so why isn't that being published?  I have been in telecom for a while now, and looking at the tapes of JFK's assassination, they were OBVIOUSLY doctored.  It doesn't take a genius to see that(Look at the ratio of the Man in the background's size to that of the people in the car).  I'm not saying that Oswald didn't pull the trigger, all I'm saying is that the tapes prove that he wasn't the only person involved, unless he was running the camera too???  Black people aren't that shallow just to say, OH, he's going to get shot by some random person!  We always point at the government first ;) lol

If you want to do some interesting reading, find the transcripts of the Church and Kennedy Committees in the 1970's. Health and Human services congressional committees started poking their noses around in our gov't's dirty little secrets files, trying to find out just the most awful things our own gov't did to its own peoples. Forget about Russian gulags and Nazi prisoncamps, they ain't got nothing on us. Remarkably, many of the files had been destroyed by the CIA or disappeared, and just as remarkably, many of those called to testify couldn't recall. But there is still enough there that is still shocking, even in this day of waterboarding.

That's the crazy thing about ego-maniacs and beuarocracies, in many cases alot of the information about the JFK murders and our own gov't's involvement and complicity is hidden in plain sight and still available, if you know where to look. Like Watergate, the crazy mofos were not only crazy enough to think this shit up, crazy enough to carry it out, crazy enough to think they were above the law and would never get caught, they had the balls to record their actions for posterity. Of course, unlike Watergate, they got away with it. And in at least one case (Who's Herb) were well rewarded for it.

But that is the kind of ish that goes down when the "Stakes is High!"

They would know that the ensuing sympathy vote for whoever the Dems put up would assure victory for the Democrat.

I think their strategy will be the same as always--smear campaign, since they are so off-base on the issues.

It is conservative wingnuts who either feel threatened by a black President or any President who says the things Obama does about taxing the wealthy and closing loopholes for corporations and leading America away from oil dependence.

And it's not necessarily even RIGHT NOW that you need to be concerned.   People of such a mindset can bide their time to see who gets elected.  JFK was killed 2 1/2 years into his Presidency.

It's another day in paradise...
