Some try to argue that this poor showing does not reflect badly on Bush. Others are content merely to scoff at his shoddy intellect. I have to take it one step further: I believe he actually failed the exam.
We already know that Bush received preferential treatment secured by his father, then in Congress. The admission officers had already let him jump the line and were predisposed to admit him. What would they have done if the little scrotum failed the admission test?
I don’t believe they would have said, “Sorry, Congressman, we can’t help you. The boy’s retarded.” Obvio
usly, they would have bumped his score up to the minimum passing grade, and let him enter the Guard.
It makes sense. I find it an unbelievable coincidence that the recipient of such preferential treatment just happened to get the lowest possible passing score. And Bush has failed absolutely everything else he’s ever tried, unless Poppy was right there to assist. It's inconceivable Bush would have scored as low as 25% if Poppy had been there to help with the answers.
Since Bush managed to purge his records in advance of his Presidential run, we will never know for sure. Then again, why purge that record if it would prove that he actually passed the test?
