The Attack of the Mankiewicz Feet - SB Party Coverage!

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit
First off, thanks TYT for the Super Bowl coverage and the Mankiewicz family for letting us into your home!  I’m not big on football, but you added a whole new level of entertainment that made the game watchable.  And now for a couple observations and awards....

Don’t worry I won’t perve out on Contessa, but to state the obvious - hot damn that chest was rocking!  It was also great to see Ben in his own element, but with all that TMZ cash, he should get those feet checked out – all night he was going to town on them with his hands, rubbing, dipping, rubbing some more – gross!  I say ditch the feet and show some love to your wife Ben (though I do understand it was game time, so maybe it was a man thing?).

Speaking of Contessa – she definitely got the MVP!  Fun random conversation, mixed with plenty of sexy shots and f’bombs being dropped everywhere.  However, the best part of the night was seeing Contessa’s feet slowly gravitate towards Cenk’s crotch on the couch.  I’m telling you Cenk, it was obvious that she was begging for a foot rub or maybe a quick foot job when Ben left the room. Ok – you know I’m joking and no I don't have a foot fetish - personally I find feet disgusting.

Now for my Top 4 Awards:

Best Idea: Contessa’s Corner (TYT segment)

Most Annoying Moment(s):  Cenk taking cell phone calls and jabbing on in front of his friends.

Biggest Drunk:  Contessa (not a bad thing – though when she busted out the word “stabby” I got a little scared.)

Man of the Night:  Dave Koller for making it happen!  Though Tom Petty did give Dave a run for his money for not killing over on stage…

P.S.  Sorry football fans for the lack of game critique – personally if the Super Bowl wasn’t such a big deal, I’d rather be watching golf.

Perhaps you're too new to the world to understand yet -- things like this take experience which young people simply don't and can't have.  Experience will change your whole perspective.  Right now, you can't fathom the changes that experience w ill bring to your ability to understand, and what happens as you gain the understanding of years.  Nevertheless, as an older person, I offer the benefits of my experience.  You can take it or leave it, but I'm telling you it's a sure bet that you'll be better off if you listen:

The older jeans are, the more comfortable they are.

Some people claim that jeans are even better the second day.  But mine are so old that it doesn't make any difference, and I can wear fresh ones every day.  And these fake "stone-washed", faded, and faux muddied jeans that you can buy nowadays?  Well, if you prefer fakes to the real thing, I guess it's up to you.  But they still chafe.

Just trying to help.

I agree with you in regards to the benefits of "broken-in" jeans, however, there comes a time with certain jeans when you just need to let go.

Sign #1 - Unless Cenk is trying to bring grunge back, when the bottoms start getting all ripped up, you know it's time.

Sign #2 - Although a good pair of jeans usually get better over time, there are exceptions whether it be poor quality, stitching or thinness.  When a thin pair of jeans get overworn (especially if they're baggy), they'll tend to wrinkle as seen on Cenk's thighs...

Let me also add that I know it was Super Bowl Sunday so who really cares.  I just know LA is a very superficial world and if Cenk wants to get the most bang for his buck, I don't think a couple fashion tips can hurt.  I'm just saying that it might be time to pick a new pair of jeans - they don't have to be designer jeans - levis are quality - geez I've seen Von Dutch jeans at Ross...

I think he said that he shops at Ross.

And yes, when the strings at the bottom of my jeans get more than half an inch long or so, I'll stop wearing them for dressy occasions.  (Grunge? What's that?)

But we'll have to agree to disagree about whether those wrinkles are a good thing or not.

I'd better go.  I've got to repaint the peace signs and flowers on my VW bus.
