I love it, I love it, I love it. One man's unselfish hard work is affecting thousands of disadvantaged children's lives without dislocating, antagonizing and politicizing. Greg Mortenson is a real miracle worker. In the last 15 years (1993-2008) he built 58 schools, 24 water projects, 14 woman's vocational center and
many, many other educational and health related services for villages of Northern Pakistan and Afghanistan. You must read to understand his unassuming, low key approach to human relationships. It is universal and enduring lesson for all of us to learn and apply to everyday life.
His work and accomplishment has to inspire every person in this world into action. Instead of armed struggle, we have to substitute peaceful coexistence with each other. We must accept the fact that we can not kill 1.2 billion Muslims. We have to learn to live together. Greg is showing us the way. Let us follow him to a peaceful world. I know Taliban, El Kaida are not going to be persuaded by these tactics, but we can separate extremist from well intentioned Muslims. When world leadership understands and applies the true church and state separation, then we will have a real peaceful world to live in.
