Please Obama, put away the celebs!

Oprah, Maria Shriver, Robert De Niro, The Grateful Dead, Hulk Hogan, just to name a few. This could really hurt general election time. Hopefully Obama has something to combat the Hollywood liberal charge. What do you all think?

He is using the celebrity endrosments brilliantly. My campus has had 4 celebrities, including scarlett johansson, visit for Obama events this week attracting hundreds of students.

Free political advertising hurts?

Fat chance.

I'm saying he is opening himself up to the effete liberal charge that would distract people from the message he wants the free advertising to send.

Cynicism is poison to reform and pumps life into the status quo.

Typical liberal whining.....

Celebrities are going to hurt Obama !!!
haha american's love celebrities!

super intellectucal liberals might not, but we ARE NOT deciding this election!

Dont take this as a dis, I just get tired every election of this kind of stuff.

I know you mean well but I think it speaks VOLUMES about the democratic party that our entertainment industry is 95% with us, we should embrace them.

I'm just one dude. And I think he's showing an electoral weakness by falling back on celebrities too often and not touting his more populist bona fides, like his community organizing experience.
