No, this isn't about aliens. It's about our favorite host, Cenk. I'm talking about Uygur-For-Office.

Like most of you, I listen to TYT everyday. Cenk is a smart, fair-minded, and completely reasonable guy. One can't help but wonder why there are not more people like him in elected office.

I don't expect this will ever happen, but he'd be a tremendous asset to whatever group of people he'd represent... keep it in mind for later on in your career, Cenk. Wasn't Al Franken a tv and radio guy who's now running? Sorry, I know he's a progressive guy but I'm not too familiar about his background.

Regardless, thank you TYT team for your entertainment, your information, and for being a positive voice for us.

The first I ever heard of Al Franken was during the first season of Saturday Night Live.  He was a writer for it then and only started appearing on camera years later.  I've always enjoyed him, and when he appeared on Air America, he confirmed that I had underestimated how truly smart he is -- and I thought of him as very smart -- because of the study he put into the issues and the quality of his analyses.

But with Senator-to-be Franken gone from the airwaves, Cenk has absolutely filled what otherwise was a huge void for me with his intelligent and entertaining commentary and his excellent interviews.  (But even though he's a lot of fun, Cenk has a ways to go before he catches up to Al's comedic abilities.)

When Franken left Air America, I wanted to move to Minnesota so that he could represent me, too.  But I will not move to L.A. if Cenk runs.  It's just too big for my taste.

PLEASE CENK, DON'T RUN!  WE NEED YOU HERE!

But it's true -- we do need his voice in talk radio more.

Hasn't Ben gotten bored at TMZ yet?

To bad his voice isnt on talk radio. Maybe this blog will become bigger than Daily Kos. Talk radio is the past anyway. None of my friends listen to it or are interested in it. My sisters kids view radio like they do vinyl records something that happened in the olden days.

I think we need Cenk in media.  He just mentioned recently that he wanted to be a talk show host from a very young age and he is really living the dream now.  His interviewing skills are incredible.  I see him more as the next Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, but with his own particular blend of passion and no-nonsense.  Someone I would really like to see in politics some day is Markos Moulitsas of Daily Kos.  I miss Al Franken too.

They had him on once before and he was great.
