Barack Obama is scheduled to speak tomorrow on Racial Politics in America during a speech in Philidelphia...
My question...Which path does he take?
Does he stand by his main man Pastor Wright and defend his church and their "blackness" and explain to America that its OK to disagree on things, and that what Pastor Wright said was right on the money? Will Obama stop denying that he didnt know Pastor Wright felt like this even though he has been a member there for 20 + years(as well as given the fact that Obama's whole campaign thus far has been a commercial for his judgement)?
Does Obama run as fast as he possibly can, denouncing Pastor Wright and his "hateful" statements on this country and Senator Clinton to make Whitey happy? Does he leave his church and his bretheren for greener pastures of the White House Lawn? What does this do to the faithful who will certainly be confused by the sudden shift of their idol?
Or does he give yet another eloquent speech that sounds good on 30 second sound bytes and really accomplish nothing so he can claim he addressed the issue and attempt to "move on" whilst leaving the American public even more confused on what he actually stands for while leaving Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews in orgasmic bliss?
Thoughts, anyone? I am interested to know what you think before (or even after) the speech!!!
Thanks...
:)
