Well, I've really hit the big time now, haven't I? A thread devoted to me... I never thought I would see the day...

I appreciate all of your love and support, spigzone, Spencer, Eveningstar (Juarez Traveller) and especially you Chinese Democracy (Tiny)... You have shown all of us what true Liberalism can be... loving, caring, sharing...

I hope everybody sees the acceptance and tolerance you have shown yourselves to have for those with differing viewpoints and opinions...

Yes, I give you the Obamabots themselves Ladies and Gentlemen, whose candidate preaches acceptance, tolerance and rising above the fray of incredulity and hate.

I hope in some small way that you actually think that your views and opinions of me affect my status on the blogs... unless Dave or Cenk says to leave, Im staying right here. I love and care for you guys to much to let you fall...

I am not angry at you. There are much more important things to be angry about in this world.

I am actually enjoying this a lot!

Now, in seriousness...

Am I Rude? Sometimes...

Am I Obnoxious? - Yes...

Am I Wrong? - Occasionally... :)

Am I Long Winded? - Absolutely!
(Spencer, anything that can be explained in less than a paragraph isnt worthy of discussion. Just because some of you guys cant muster up much thought doesn't mean we should inhibit others from doing so) Plus, Spencer, its gonna take me a while to put everything into haiku...

But I really dont think that I would have drawn such a reaction from you and others, spigzone, if there wasnt a grain of truth in what I have been saying.

Its great to disagree, and its even better when you show the rest of us what you're really made of on the inside.

Thanks again for all of your tolerance, love and acceptance... like a good Progressive should give to all their bretheren...

I apologize for the comments of my breathern. I cannot disavow them anymore than I can disavow the liberal community or my racist grandmother or my former black girlfriend. I can only hope that together we can find common ground and practice the tolerance necessary to allow us to understand the differences between us and to bridge the gap between understanding and ignorance.

The audacity of hypocricy is trying to silence those who disagree and I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Your dissent should be welcome among our community as Jesus teaches us those without sin should cast the first stone.

May the Lord bless and keep you. Hopefully together we shall find our way to the promised land (a dem victory in November).

I thought it was obvious that my comments were clearly meant in jest.
And it's not that what you're saying has a kernel of truth and that's why we get mad.  It's about the language Lebowski!  You always use the standard right wing radio terms and it drives me crazy.  And the negativity is also obnoxious.  Lets think back to the first thing you posted (to my knowledge anyway).  It was all about how the show was going to fall apart because the loop was going away.  Remember way back then...  Your seems to pessimism bleed into everything.

That's what makes Juarez and Tiny CD different than the other people who participate in the forum. They are completely intolerant of opposing viewpoint.

Actually, it could be argued that these two guys are the best examples we have of "real liberals". They probably participate in "newshound" activities to fight FoxNews, and Fairness Doctrine organizations to silence Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

The very thought of conservatives having the right of free speech drives these two to distraction. For that reason, bobo and KenTX aren't going anywhere.

If you actually were intelligent opposition that would be something interesting.  I really enjoy a good discussion.  Michael Shure is a good example.  I think his answers are all wrong, but I can't find enough holes in his logic to counter everything he says.  My disagreements with him are reduced to comparing unprovable assumptions.  The bastard is too damned smart and actually makes me think about things.  I really like him, even though I disagree with him on some new issue everytime he appears on the show.  I'm convinced that he's a nice guy who wants to help make the world a better place.

But you have no such interest.  All you want to do is shoot down other people's ideas, claiming complete distrust of everyone and that hope and working for change is futile.  What's worse is that your arguments don't match facts, they always stray so far from logic as to become fanatasy, and they often contradict each other.  You claim to be intelligent and educated -- in history of all things -- but you never demonstrate it.  You don't think.  You never examine your assumptions.  You don't follow your ideas to their logical conclusions.  You're just goddamned lazy, and that's why I respect nothing that you say.

When you cripple yourself with self-contradiction, fallacious logic, and absolute cynicism, you should not think of yourself either as a challenge or as interesting.  You're simply crippled in a way for which there is no charity.

As our amnesia-stricken friend has neglected to mention, I changed the names in the information I found (although, let's be honest, neither Ken nor I had to be much of a sleuth to find each other's info).  I put his family history in my own bio, in such a way as to prevent anybody but Ken from actually recognizing it.  Then Ken got angry and blew the whistle on himself, letting everyone know that it was HIS family history. Oops.  Comedy!

And yeah, since then, nobody's posted anybody else's anything.

I used to use "Juarez Traveller" here. (none / 1)
It was a nickname given to me by a fiance who died a few years ago.  Her kids sometimes call me "Juarez" now.  Well, only her daughter uses that name much now, especially when she wants something from me or wants to tease me.  The name is very important to me.

But KenTX stole it and abused it, so I don't want to use it here anymore.  I'm using this nickname, which I've actually had since 1992 when it was given to me by another girlfriend named MorningStar.  It's been through the wringer several times (I used to be a drunk) but has become pretty solid in some circles, so if KenTX tries to steal this one, it's no big deal.

I'm sure that KenTX and bobo1 are going to be very proud of themselves, although it took them longer than I thought it would to figure me out.  I thought I'd made it easy, using the same idioms and even tacking the "NM" onto my nick.  But the feelings of people who have no concern about the effects of their behavior on others are not especially important to me.
