Well, the updates are from the last 3 days. I have been saving them for when we get our 28th state reporting.

Today NC became that state. So here are the polls:

NC: Clinton loses by 16, Obama by 9

Upates:

From Thursday, 3/20/08

MA: Clinton by 19, Obama by 7,
The relevent thing is that Obama is indeed winning MA and not tieing with McCain.

From Friday, 3/21/08

NY: Obama by 11, Clinton by 10
MN: Mac over Clinton by 1, Obama over Mac by 4,
Clinton loses MN once again in the final tally

From Monday, 3/24/08

NV: Obama by 4, Clinton by 1

Good job to both for hanging on to this former red state.

So with 28 states (56%) reporting, representing 391 EV, (73%) here are the numbers:

McCain vs Clinton

McCain: 235, 59.3%
Clinton: 161, 40.7%

McCain vs Obama

McCain: 223, 56.3%
Obama: 144, 36.4%

Overall Meat Grinder McCain is now only 35 EVs away from clinching it with Clinton and 47 EVs away from beating Obama.

Perhaps some blue states will turn the tide in the dems favor.

Of the 28 states reporting so far, 16 are red states and 12 are blue states.

However, I believe that there are more red states then blue, but the blue states are bigger.

So overall I am not yet willing to pound the gavel.

But unfortunately that day is soon approaching, unless the dems can turn some states blue, the meat grinder shall get its 270 EVs and 1726 US soldiers will pay with their lives.

That's it!  That's the hole in the Republican plan and in your pessimism!  Sure, there are a lot of red states, but there are big blue states with a lot of electoral votes.

Also, while the Republic Party might be campaigning against the Democrats, the reverse is not yet quite true.  I'd like to see you start over with this when Obama is able to start focusing on McCain and doesn't have to worry about Clinton's attacks anymore.  It's a sure bet that the numbers will change.
