Question for other Obama supporters

As an Obama supporter what do I do if Clinton somehow wins the Democratic Nomination?

In my opinion Obama has it wrapped up already but it looks like the Clintons are not letting go. The MSM is failing to show the general public that it's really over with already, so most of the people I've spoken with don't feel that it's over yet. If she, by hook or crook wins the nomination that leaves all us Obama supporters in a horrible spot. I can't vote for her, I can't vote for McCain, but I don't think I can sit out either. What do I do?!?

There, there now.  Everything's all right.  It'll be okay.  You don't have to be afraid.

Sure, if Obama was discovered <fill in wierd motel room scene involving clowns and lingerie here> it might happen.  But according to various reports linked in this forum, Hillary has either a 5% or 10% chance of winning the nomination.  The numbers just don't add up.  She would have to beat odds that are tremendously against her in a situation that is not as subject to chance as one might think.

Unless something dramatic occurs, Clinton will win Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  Obama will win everywhere else.  Obama will be the nominee, winning both more delegates and the popular vote.  Don't worry about it.

Start fighting McCain.

Good Obamabots don't worry about Hillary.

You need to expand your horizons.

Here is the truth Obama has a lead.

That lead will get tighter down the stretch.

Neither will have enough delegates to win the nomination outright.

Both candidates will appeal to the superdelegates for votes.

they will vote and a winner decided Obama or Clinton.

There is no "hook or crook" despite what you may have heard. In fact the only hook or crook here is Obama supporters trying to end the game before it is actually over. This is our system, sucks doesn't it.

Their is a chance that a 3rd choice could be selected (Gore or Edwards) to unify the party.

That is the unspinned truth.

I don't want to sound like a one trick pony, but the next president Will select at least 2 and probably three justices. We cannot allow 3 more conservative judges on the court, no matter what your stance on abortion. Any dem is better than any repub for this reason alone!

If she wins the nomination fairly by getting the popular vote or the pledge delegates i will swallow hard and vote for her.
If she wins by making Obama unelectable and I will still vote for her because to allow a Republican administration to continue would be a crime against humanity.
But there will be a price to pay.  I will change my party designation to Independent.  I will not give one more penny to the democratic party or their candidates.  I will lobby my elected officials to change to my party.
But that will be after this election.  But lets wait and see who wins the nominations and how that happens.
You can call and ask your Democratic Senators and Representatives to show some leadership and tell Hillary to turn her guns on McCain not us.  Dont email they dont listen to emails anymore.  They can quietly state their concern to her if enough people complain.

You hold your nose and vote "D"

The alternative is unacceptable.

...is that this poll appears to show that there are Obama supporters right here is TYTland who would vote for McCain if Obama is not the nominee.

But I guess Arthur C. Clark did explain it when he said, "The universe is not only stranger than you imagine, it is stranger than you can imagine."

It's too early to say.  Anyone who votes for McCain has to be equally confident in his VP choice.  Since the life expectancy of a white American male is only 75, McCain is statistically unlikely to survive an entire four-year presidential term.
