The Clinton name comes with plenty of PG-Rated taint besides the Monica Lewinsky stuff.

Clinton pretty much caused the housing market cluster-f when he deregulated the banks and lenders market back when he was president.

Its not really that complicated to explain to people--the money markets are having, to quote Rev. Wright, "Their chickens come home to roost"

If Obama begins to remind people that government is here to support the people not the corporations as he has started to in his new adds--we can run Hillary out on a rail (eve nthough she lost already).

Finish Her!

Obama has repeatedly shown that he is incapable of delivering the knockout punch to Hillary. He will most likely fail to do it in Pennsylvania as well.

...run Hillary out on a rail (even though she lost already).

Hillary has not been mathematically eliminated.

a knockout punch in PA?

What qualifies?

50-50?  Does it have to be a win?

He has to win PA. Otherwise Hillary can say that she is stronger in swing states, and justify remaining in the race.

Obama won Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. Clinton won Ohio.

Which states are safely red in November? Which state is going to be a hard fought battleground that could spell the difference between victory and defeat in the Electoral College?

proves how powerful the Clintons are.

She will never concede until they promise her something like the Governorship of New York, and a subsequent Supreme Court appointment.

Unlike Hillary he doesn't want to give the rethugs ammunition they can use later if the Hildebeast wins.

This isn't like the general election.  Obama NEEDS the Hillary supporters to vote for him in the general.

Which is the biggest reason Hillary's campaign has been an unmitigated DISASTER.  Why has she or the HillBots attacked Obama's supporters at every turn?  Oh that state doesn't matter.  Caucuses aren't true democracy.  People support Obama because they're under some sort of trance.  They're sexist.  They're reverse-Racist.  They're "Latte-drinking, Prius-driving trust fund kids."  Of course, black people support Obama because they're all racists.

This is the tactic the Hillary campaign has chosen which makes no sense whatsoever.  They must think of progressives and blacks as SHEEP.  They're just DARING you to vote for John McCain.  But you WON'T cuz you're WEAK little Democrats.  Now get in line and vote for FEARLESS LEADER.

Like Keith Olbermann said, "It's not a campaign tactic.  It's a SUICIDE PACT."

by sunsawed on 03/29/2008 05:48:32 PM EST

Yes Obama needs her supporters and yes Hillary has run a bad campaign.

The caucuses are not representative of the people (Texas) proves that. but it is the system in place and she should have been prepared for it, kudos to Obama for taking advantage of them.

The rest is liberal hate mail

Truth

Clinton was labeled a racist early in the campaign. This was done for a specific reason. Clinton has long enjoyed the support of the black Community, specifically because of her long time support of civil rights. Clinton would be winning the black community by 50-75% if she were running against Edwards or Biden or Dodd etc. Blacks have voted against her in this primary by upwards 80-95%. Considering that (policy wise) there isn't much difference between the 2 candidates  why has this occurred?

Black people aren't racist, they are regular people who vote for the candidate that they best relate to. The racist angle was added to ensure that feeling.

Olberman should be ashamed of himself.

Fact Senator Obama has stated that his race did play a role in his running for president. Had he been white he would have been just another freshman senator (his words not mine).

Let's put this into proper perspective. You work for years championing the cause of civil rights. Because of this you have consistantly earned the votes of the black community in various elections. A new young black candidate runs against you. Suddenly you are accused of being racist (over a non-racial comment). Suddenly the support and respect that you had spent decades building is gone. The black community votes overwhelmingly for the new candidate dispite the fact that there is no difference "policy wise" between the 2 candidates.

I wonder how would you feel? what would you think?

Ferraro's comments were a reflection of that frustration and nothing more.

Olberman should be ashamed of himself. He should have at least mentioned Obama's own words on the subject of his race.

Olberman then attributed Ferraro's words to clinton and then later had a fit when the MSM attributed Wright's words to Obama.

Since I think Obama will lose in Nov., would it be fair for me to say that you have signed a suicide pact with Obama?

Would it be fair to say since clinton is a racist for taking a week to get rid of Ferraro. That Obama is a racist for hanging around Wright for 20 years?

Fact is I can accuse Obama of trying to steal this election and of sabotaging the Clinton campaign.

Would it be fair, no. Would it be right, no. So why is it right for Obama supporters to do it to Hillary.

I respectfully disagree that it matters if Obama said something similar to what Ferraro said.  Olberman understands this because he comes from the world where talking about yourself and your opponent come up the most often: Sportscenter.

Example: I live and breathe Texas Longhorn football and a few years ago a diety descended from the heavens and dramtically gave us a long awaited National Championship against an extraordinary USC team. Now I am going to make up two quotes that are essentially the same and you tell me it doesn't matter who said them.  (Settle down, Ken, I know these aren't real.  Don't bother to post a link to the wiki entry on "quote")

Vince Young: "Well, USC played a great game tonight but we caught a few breaks but you need luck to win.  And besides I owe it all to my teammates, I am just fortunate to play with such a taltented group of guys.  My hats off to USC, they are true champions"

Pete Caroll: "Well, we played a great game tonight but Vince caught a few breaks and he needed luck to win.  And besides he owes it all to his teammates, he is just fortunate to play with such a talented group of guys.  My hats off to my guys (USC), we are true champions."

Get the difference?  One is humility and is a positive thing and makes us like you, the other is sour grapes and makes you look like an asshole.

Can you imagine The Patriots saying the Giants only won by getting lucky and then trying to point to a quote of some Giant saying they were lucky to win?  This is basically what the Hillary campaign is doing.  I can't be too shocked though, I like the Clintons but they are Razorbacks and those are possibly the least classy fans in America.

Obama impresses me as the kind of guy who lets out a little rope at a time and then will let her hang herself. He has practically wrapped this nomination up by taking the high road. Why should he change successful tactics? He's like a Weeble, they keep punching and he may wobble but he doesn't fall down.

I honestly believe that Obama knows he will be OK if he doesn't win this nomination. But I'm not sure Clinton has the psychological substance to be happy with herself or  be sure her husband will be happy with her (don't discount this) if she loses. She is carrying heavy father issues. And these childhood things drive ambitious people, sometimes to their own destruction. Obama seems to have faced and matured because of his father issues. I'm not convinced Clinton has.

The stress and fatigue are starting to show.

Neither Hillary or Bill can tolerate the thought of losing. Bill, because it would be a Democrat Party repudiation of the Clinton Years, and a chance forever lost to redeem his piss poor legacy. Hillary, because she's never lost before in her life, and because she has spent her entire life chasing this dream, only to lose it when she was within inches of certain victory.

I voted for Barack Obama in the Texas Primary because I want to destroy Clinton Inc for all time. If Obama wins the White House, I can easily live with it, especially knowing how much pain the Clinton's will suffer for the rest of their lives.

She loves it when you talk dirty obout her.

She can still win this election. All she needs is the popular vote.
