Remember, even if we have a Democratic House, Senate, and Presidency, the Republican dogs will still be humping our legs through their reality challenged surrogates on the Supreme Court.
With 3, maybe 4, seats likely to come open in the next 4 to 8 years, it is IMPERITIVE that we get these moronic constitution deniers off the court.
Did you see the latest? If you live in Indiana, bend over and apply copious amounts of lubricant - here come the Supremes!
Split court could uphold Indiana's voter ID law
The Supreme Court appeared poised Wednesday to uphold a stringent voter-identification law that Indiana officials say prevents fraud and Democratic challengers say infringes on the right to vote.
More broadly, Chief Justice John Roberts and other justices suggested that the court might erect new hurdles for political parties or civil rights groups challenging voting regulations. Justices appeared to want such groups to produce individuals who were burdened in specific instances, rather than mounting sweeping challenges to potentially discriminatory laws.
A ruling on Indiana's photo ID requirement, expected by summer, could affect voter regulations nationwide in the November presidential election.
Sure. The old "end around" play. Civil rights groups
can't "
produce individuals who were burdened in specific instances" until
after the fact - and then it's too late. Also, whatever case is brought can languish in the system for
years before the court even gets around to deciding whether they will even
look at it.
To hell with Denmark - something is exceedingly rotten right
here. The American Dream has turned into a naked-in-school nightmare.
