In George Bush's America, a political thug like Karl Rove can initiate legal prosecutions against political opponents for political motivations. Case in point, former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman, who was jailed on spurious charges after a US Dept of Justice prosecution, apparently pushed by Karl Rove.
