Utterly awsome in every way!

 A 5250 foot building!

 Human engineering at its finest!

I love seeing humans working together to accomplish the impossible!

Of course, the building may be impractical, economically speaking, unless the Saudis can diversify their economy to get off oil.

But perhaps this will do just that.

Dubai is fast becoming the Hong Kong of the Middle East by catering to tourists and non oil based commerce.

Anyway, I would certainly visit Jeddah just to visit the observation deck! My god the view from up there, it would almost be a religious experience!

Wow, that thing's so huge, it's gonna have its own ecosystem.  But if they can build a 5250-foot tower, why can't they spring for the extra 30 feet needed to make it an actual mile?  In Japanese, such a situation is described with the phrase "mottainai."

No, Japan is overburdened with tetsuzukiMottainai is not a noun.  To put it in your terms, consider this sentence:

"Every process in Texas is overburdened with my mother is my sister."
