Very professionally done.  It compares well to many things I've seen on network television.

You would think that even though they don't want to do routine screenings on young women that if one shows up with a lump they would jump all over it just in case, but clearly that isn't necessarily the case.  I've seen that type of mindset before in other professions, where the professional makes up their mind ahead of time what something is or what is causing it, and then proceeds to act on the pre-conceived notion rather than doing proper diagnostic work.  In some ways it represents a sort of disadvantage to experience.  In her case they just knew from prior experience that a younger women with a lump doesn't usually have cancer, and that "knowledge" nearly got her killed.

I've never understood why you wouldn't just do the tests if there's even a slight risk.  I know the argument is that the tests are expensive, but isn't treating cancer for years much more expensive?  I work for orthopedic surgeons so I honestly don't know if that's even true, but I can't imagine it's not.  We need actual healthcare and not just disease management.  Cost be damned.  I'd be more than happy to pay higher taxes to keep people from dying of (or suffering from) cancer.

It was well executed. Your narrator voice was engaging but not annoying. The subject matter was compelling and I didn't feel emotionally manipulated although sometimes I like that. The narrative arc was focused and informative and you were able to present the different perspectives of various people. It even ended on a positive note, which is important because audiences don't appreciate it when the main subject croaks. Well done, well done.

If I had the time and a Mac computer with final cut, I would do documentaries all day. I love it.

How unfortunate. No children at such a young age.

How can doctors say age is the only determining factor? Genetics are a huge factor. They should have been on that like white on rice. How expensive is an ultrasound? Truly?

I like Ana's indepth coverage. We don't get that w/ the evening news.

Thanks, Ana.

Thank you Anna.  I had the experience of being misdiagnosed with breast cancer being told that, first, it was a cyst and then an abscess.  This went on for a year while the tumer got bigger and bigger, my doctor treating me as if I were a big cry baby because i was insisting on more test.  Finally, when correctly diagnosed, it was stage 3 with many infected nodes.  Just like Kim.  I've been kicking myself for letting myself get strung along and not having investigated more thoroghly on my own.  But like Kim said, and this struck a deep cord with me, the idea of having cance is so terrifying, we tend to just believe the doctors, ignore our gut feelings and hope for the best in order to function in our busy lives.  This denial tactice has got to stop.  Your brilliant vidio should be manditory viewing in high schools.  Cancer is not a death sentence but we've got to storm and attack the system head on and literally fight for our lives.
God Bless, go forward, Anna, you've been a wonderful addition to The Young Turks!!!
