The 'fair and balanced' DEMOCRATS.

How the democrats mimic fox news and the msm.

Listening to RFK jr. on Ring of Fire this saturday sharpened into focus something that had been nibbling at the edge of my consciousness.

He very sharply rebuked the 'democratic candidates' for their unseemly behavior toward each other. It was short but it was HARSH. And I thought 'dude, OBAMA didn't do anything to warrant such words, HILLARY did'. and then I remembered RFK jr. was on the Hillary side of the Kennedy family. This was blatantly dishonest on Robert Kennedys part as he certainly know the facts of the situation. He compormised his integrity and honesty in a partisan attack. Most unbecoming.

And upon consideration, i realized this was very common among democratic leaders and in democratic media. Nancy Pelosi, for example, very recently chiding both candidates to 'tone it down'.

This is exactly what happens in the MSM in a democrat vs. republican scenario. BOTH camps are blamed  even when it is only ONE of them doing 95% of the 'bad'. That ONE, of course, nearly always the republicans. It is the msm being 'fair and balanced' instead of objective.

So it is with Obama and Hillary. SHE does all the dirty work, lies and distortions, bad acting, gutter fighting, and Obama gets dragged into a LITTLE bit of necessary defensive action but they BOTH end up being tarred with the same brush by DEMOCRATS.

And that is JUST NOT RIGHT. Hillary is totally aware of and taking advantage of this to influence those democrats just tuned in enough to what's happening to be influenced by the democratic talking heads and msm soundbites from the leadership and come away with the impression both Obama and Hillary are equally wallowing in the mud.

The democrats engaged in this little trick of being 'fair and balanced' instead of HONESTLY OBJECTIVE need to be called on it. It stinks to high heaven and only reinforces the tendency to use the Rovian tactics Hillary has been using.

That drive for honest objectivity is, after all, what we all love about Cenk. I don't always agree with him but I RESPECT him for that drive for honest differentiated objectivity. And clean willingness to own up when he is proved wrong. Were it only that all were so.

While several progressive show hosts have recently pointed out it that Hillary is the one crashing this thing into the ground, others pretend it's 50/50 (rather than 85/15 or whatever).

Even Rachel Maddow Friday kept saying how she wished they would *both* stop bickering and focus on John McCain.  She should know better.

Very annoying.

Jane Hamsher and John Amato, who were part of Sam Seder's guest panel on his show yesterday.

Granted, they didn't go into detail on the campaign, but they both dismissively said this was all no big deal (presumably that means they think Hillary's tactics are A-OK).  I was hoping Seder would've stepped up to something more but he didn't.

I know he's for Obama though.

Who are the "people" that have been labeling Clinton a racist since right before SC? In fact right before every contest another "racist" accusation pops up.

I know she is doing it to herself, right?

I know it is part of the game but come on. Sad part is that the race card won't work in the general election (different electorate).

Every Obama supporter needs to stop crying about her tactics and learn from them. The general election is an entirely new playing field and it is not for the faint at heart.

Every election (except the clinton years) it is the same thing the Pubs attack and the Dems cry and then the Dems Lose.

You're absolutely right on all counts.  Now I can't wait to listen to my Ring of Fire podcast on Monday and be furious.

Randi Rhodes on Fridays show (3/7/08) did an "Untouchables" Deniro  (bat at the dinner table) on Hillary, It was awesome.

She went full-on anti Hillary, listing everything from the bs Obama's a muslim email that originated from a Clinton county caucus superviser in Iowa to the Saudi and UAE money donated to the Clinton Library.

The last straw for her was the 60mins interview.  She did a call to arms for Pennsylvania "if you're not there or can't get there use the phone to canvass, the nation is on the line."

I luv Ring of Fire but the guys have been unfair on Obama.  Especially Pap scoffing at his inclusive message.

Do you guys think Randi smashing Hillary for 6 weeks before Pennsylvania will make a difference in the campaign?  What are her ratings like?
