Democrats Want To Prosecute Rush Limbaugh For Operation Chaos!

Democrats don’t want to hold al Qaeda POWs in Gitmo while denying them Habeas Corpus.
Democrats don’t want to deny Constitutional rights to al Qaeda, even though they are non-citizens who never set foot on U.S. soil.
Democrats don’t want to eavesdrop on signals communication between al Qaeda operatives who are located outside of the U.S., unless there is a warrant sought in every instance.
Democrats don’t want to require that American voters present identification when they go to the polls.

But Democrats are trying to prosecute Rush Limbaugh for encouraging his listeners to cross over and vote in the Democrat Primary.

I hereby publically proclaim that I crossed over and voted for Barack Obama, and I’m a Republican. I invite any prosecutor in America to investigate my actions and my intentions.

This is America, and I have the right to vote for whomever I choose, as long as I’m legally registered. I realize that Democrats are trying to take this right away from me, but I’m prepared for a legal battle.

The case will go down in American history: KenTX v. Dean

I'll bite. superficially I agree with you. You have every right to vote for whoever you damnwell please. But what is the infraction they're claiming?

voter fraud? On what basis? Needless to say it is ironic that republicans who hyperventilate about voter fraud engage in this stuff, but I don't care. honestly. I don't have sound currently so I can't watch your youtube link.

you need to listen to the content of the link.
Democrats in Ohio are studying options for prosecuting Rush Limbaugh for encouraging his listeners to cross over and vote for Hillary Clinton in the Democrat Primary.

Evidently, there is some kind of party loyalty oath that primary voters are required to sign as an affidavit. That is unconstitutional and I wish some enterprising prosecutor would actually try this test case.

They don’t want to ask for identification at the polls, but they require a party loyalty oath.
Amazing.

The Federal government has NO SAY AT ALL  in a primary election.  They are run by the party.  They can set whatever rules they want.  This is just you talking out your ass.  Again.  Or rather Limbaugh's.

In fact, even general elections are supposed to be run by the state.  Well, if you believe in federalism anyway.

Oh, and a quick google search will show you the only person who really seriously suggested Limbaugh was in legal trouble was Limbaugh.  He is pretty desperate to be relevant again.

You have lots of questions, and fortunately I have lots of answers.

When Democrats talk about putting people in jail because of who they voted for, you better damn well believe the Constitution and voter's rights come into play.

I PRAY that some Democrat prosecutor goes after a Republican voter for crossing over and voting in the Democrat primary. I'm even offering myself as a test case. Maybe Ronnie Earle can try the case.

When the states of IN, GA, AZ tried to implement Voter ID laws, Democrats went freakin nuts and took the cases all the way to the Supreme Court, where they will go down in defeat this June.

Do you really think this is not a constitutional issue?

by KenTX on 04/14/2008 01:01:20 AM EST

[ Parent ]

It is clearly not a constitutional issue because it is a primary.  The winner gains no position in the government.  The parties can pick their nominee however the hell they want.  The could guess the number of jelly beans in a really big jar, they could have a dicksucking contest, they could breakdance for it.  There is no right to vote in a primary, only in a general.

Damn, with all the stuff you think you know, how do you not know this!!!!

And Ronnie Earle ain't gonna prosecute you for shit because a) he's retiring and b) the only person seriously talking about legal action is Limbaugh trying to make himself sound persecuted so you morons will get all moist and runny over your hero.

Oh yeah, and that crooked ass Indiana voter ID case is terrifying and the GOPs only chance to win the election.

Thank God we have a Democrat Supreme Court.

Wait a minute.... Ken was wrong again!

Democrats are trying to figure out how to prosecute Republicans.

I promise you that if some prosecutor comes after me, or an Ohio Republican voter, for crossing over and voting in the Democrat primary, that case is going all the way to the Supreme Court.

Would you like to place a bet?

"Oh yeah, and that crooked ass Indiana voter ID case is terrifying and the GOPs only chance to win the election."

Yeah. Right. Making voters bring their drivers licenses to the polls is going to make a big difference only if there has been widespread voter fraud. If the election turns on Voter ID, I'm going to laugh my ass off for the next 20 years.

Not everyone has ID, Ken.  10% of registered Indiana voters have no state issue picture ID.  These are overhwelmingly Democrat.

Research the issue.  Don't just suckle at the teet of Limbaugh.  That milk is filled with oxycontin.

There has been many studies of the voter fraud issue (even some by republican groups and no one can find any to speak of (except Ann Coulter, she got busted for voter fraud.)

Oh my God, Rich. Now I will never be able to lose the image of oxycontin-laced milk dripping from Rush's nipples. Please let me die.

It will be an Ohio State prosecutor, if it ever happens (which it most certainly won't).  My understanding is that the Ohio law is to prevent one party's tricks (such as voting in the other party's weakest candidate in a primary because your party's candidate is a lock) from unduly influencing the choice of the other party.

However, it is my understanding that this doesn't happen in any great percentage.  Most people either don't waste their vote, or aren't engaged enough politically to be so Machiavellian (sp?).

You should have voted for Ron Paul rather than waste your vote on the Democrats.

He would have taken the nomination

Be careful what you wish for Ken, you just might get it. As I understand it, you are supporting Obabma because you think it will be a cake walk in November vs. McCain. But more because you HATE HATE HATE Bill Clinton (and Hilary as well) and don't want any chance of them getting back into power.

Blow job. Blow job blow job blow job. Blah blah blah Blow JOB! How do you feel about Hilary for VP on a Barack ticket? Are you still going to be saying Viva Barack (if and) when it is Barack and Hilary vs. McCain and whomever he chooses to run with? Obviously not.

Be careful what you wish for.

BLOW JOB BLOW JOB BLOW JOB.

I still, and don't think I will ever, understand what made you and your ilk so disgusted. Are you against oral sex, do you enjoy blow jobs yourself, have you ever had one, I just don't get what got ya so riled up about it.

Blow job.

Obama will win the nomination, and he might win the general election. Not because he's a strong candidate, but because it is extremely difficult for a political party to win three presidential elections in a row.

1960: We had peace and prosperity and a popular incumbent, but the "out party" managed to eek out a razor thin victory.

2000: We had peace and prosperity and a popular incumbent, but the "out party" managed to eek out a razor thin victory.

2008: We have neither peace nor prosperity nor a popular incumbent, but the "out party" is doing stupid things that are making the election very close. Democrats have done absolutely nothing to recommend themselves for leadership, but they will likely win because of current economic problems.

If Obama wins, he will be a one term president, and he will make Jimmy Carter look good in the eyes of history.

Trying for a "third term"- All-time 7-6 BUT 1-4 in the last five attamepts, 3-5 in last eight.  Also curious that all the losses are some of the most fucked up elections of all time. 2000, 1976, 1968, 1960, 1920, 1860.  Incredibly weak group of winning candidates here.  With the exception of JFK these are some of the most reviled presidents in history.

And the wins generally produced very unpopular presidents. 1988, 1928, 1868, 1796.  The Roosevelts and Madison are the only one to survive the curse.

2000-Loss Bush over Gore (kinda)

1988-Win Bush over Dukakis

1976-Loss Carter over Ford (barely)

1968-Loss Nixon over Humphrey

1960-Loss JFK over Nixon (barely)

1940-Win FDR over Wilkie

1928-Win Hoover over Smith

1920-Loss Harding over Cox

1904-Win Roosevelt over Parker

1868-Win Grant over Seymour

1860-Loss Lincoln over three Dems

1808-Win Madison over three other guys

1796-Win Adams over Jefferson

"And the wins generally produced very unpopular presidents."

If a candidate manages to somehow win a third consecutive presidential term for a political party, his presidency usually fails. Why? Because the American people don't want one party in the White House all the time.

If the GOP wins in 2008, they will definitely lose in 2012. You think Bill and Hillary have figured out the math yet? You think Bill and Hillary want Obama to win in 2008, so he gets to run for reelection in 2012? You think Bill and Hillary care about anything but themselves? You think Bill and Hillary are running a "Poison Pill" Campaign this year? You think Bill and Hillary are good people who should be running the country?

Why the hell do you think I voted for Barack Obama? You Democrats are some stoooopid people.

Rush Limbaugh is the luckiest man in the world!

It is indeed fortunate for Rush that being a fat, loudmouthed hypocrite and racist demagogue not to mention drug addict and connoisseur of under aged Dominican sex workers isn't illegal.

The one thing I have learned at this message board is that Limbaugh fans are incapable of understanding the consequences of there actions. Everything exists in a five minute time frame.

Weep for them,

It won't be a problem. The district has always been a GOP stronghold, and the massive influx of new Republican residents will only make MS-01 redder and better.

Acroso, we would appreciate your guidance on this district.

I don't even consider myself part of the GOP anymore. I'll probably vote for some of them not McCain though.

acroso for being honest,

Now, tell us about all these new Republicans who have moved into your neighborhood that Ken is talking about.

Or is Ken talking out of his ass again?

MS-01 is a very red district in a very red state. It is a rapidly growing exurban district.

I get my information from the Democrat Party's own playbook.

You guys live in echo chambers and give each other words of encouragement to get through the day.

We're not interested in like-minded coffee klatches. We infiltrate your home.

I am sure that you think that that 4 year old article is relevant to the conversation but you would be the only one.

Either follow along with the conversation or kindly shut up and I don’t care how long you have been posting here.

Thank you.

An article from 2004.

Maybe you didn't hear but here's a qucik recap.  DLC lost influence Howard Dean took over (for better or worse) and the GOP got the shit kicked out of it in 2006.

But it is nice to see 90s man has made it all the way to four years ago.  Welcome to the future Ken! (your future anyway, still our past).
