The Young Turks

Well, this marks a second very depressing moment in Obama's CAMPAIGN FOR HOPE for our future. "Oppurtunity knocks" for those who would destroy and crush this deeper hope for our future.

 
Some might member my "Archie Bunker" comments of last month, lamenting that many blue collar voters in rural Pennsylvania (and West Virginia and Kentucky and Southern Indiana) would now tip the scales in favor of Hillary, because they would turn their anger about the economic INJUSTICE - and make no mistake, our system is doing them a GRAVE ECONOMIC INJUSTICE - against Barack Obama over the comments of Reverend Wright.

 Angry and "BITTER" about this injustice, many blue collar voters would look for a scape-goat; Reverend Wright the "America hater", illegal immigrants, Liberals who "want to destory Jesus"! I say this and I STRONGLY believe in the teachings of Jesus. The man was a social revolutionary for his time.

 It was quite apt and telling that the "Gollum" look-a-like James Carville - boy, he really does look like Gollum doesn't he? - immediately referred to Governor Richardson as "Judas". What better image to portray to blue collar workers angered at "the system"? Yes, use a religious reference to fire up your supporters against Obama! Does the Clinton camp have a CLEAR STRATEGY or what?

Ok, so what happened was this Mayhill Fowler - who spews anti-Obama rhetoric, who gave money to Fred Thompson's campaign, whose Husband supports Hillary, and who claims on CNN that she is "an Obama supporter" (YEAH, RIGHT. Gave money to Fred Thompson, an Obama supporter - sure, whatever you say!!!), snuck a recording device into a private meeting and caught Obama making a professorial sociological statement about American society. Yes, Obama was a teacher, a part-time law professor, and he speaks like a professor (I always think of him as "the teacher" of the American people).

Well, for months now, since Obama TROUNCED Hillary in Virginia, Maryland, and Wisconsin, when he started making strong inroads into the blue collar vote - which, ofcourse, HE CERTAINLY SHOULD, since Hillary Clinton is a CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRAT WHO IS A LEADER OF THE DLC (a group of pro-corporate, conservative Dems), I figured that the "win at any costs" Hillary campaign probably had several SPIES in the Obama Campagin. Just looking and recording any possible professorial phrase Obama might turn to use against him.

An aside: SORRY HILLARY SUPPORTERS, but the REALITY, and not Hillary's BS, strongly shows her support of CORPORATE AMERICA (witness Obama's attack on Hillary's voting FOR the new Bankruptcy Act - a HUGE GIFT to the credit card companies. Hillary supports blue collar workers? Are you kidding? While she votes for the new Bankruptcy Act? Hillary's CHIEF CAMPAIGN STRATEGIST Mark Penn was a CORPORATE LOBBYIST who worked for the Columbia Free Trade deal while Hillary CLAIMED she was against it??

HILLARY SUPPORTERS, GET A FU@KING CLUE!!!! WAKE UP!!! Hillary will do anything to WIN!!!

 We Obama supporters are NOT ANTI-WOMEN! I am a HUGE supporter of BEV PERDUE for Governor of North Carolina!!! I would LOVE to have a woman president - but a PROGRESSIVE WOMAN DEMOCRAT! NOT a pro-corporate Dem like Hillary. HILLARY IS NOT A LIBERAL! GET A CLUE!

 Ok, more than enough of an aside. As I said, I feared, and as events have shown in no way was this some paranoia, that Hillary had spies in the campaign. It is not uncommon for sleazy politicians to do this, or for some oppurtunistic individual like Mayhill Fowler to see their chance. Fowler, just like the rest of us, KNEW what Obama was saying. Its the "Whats the Matter with Kansas?" argument that Professor Frank so eloquently made in his now-famous book after the 2004 election - that many blue collar Americans, working class (isn't it weird how Lou Dobbs always refers to working class Americans as "middle class"? As if "working class" is some kind of dirty word), that hard working Americans, in their anger, and yes, BITTERNESS, over the American system, would turn their bitterness toward reactionary politics - the gun lobby, fundamentalist reaction against civil liberties; and would actually vote against their OWN INTERESTS in a STRONGER LABOR MOVEMENT and a politics that would support their rights.

 Hillary is AWARE of this, she's seen it. She knows that Obama said is basically true - though in a BROADER, SOCIOLOGICAL sense -which is ofcourse, the way Obama often speaks. Hillary knows Obama is a professor. Hell, even she has probably read "Whats the Matter With Kansas?". But, she knew this was her BIG CHANCE, bigger than the Reverend Wright controversy. She also knew this was something she could easilly MANIPULATE to those who, for no fault of their own, might not have a background in sociology or a broader understanding of society.

Its oftentimes not a person's fault they don't have a better education - but simply an enviromental difference that they weren't exposed to. They simply were not so fortunate. HILLARY KNOWS THAT.

But what does she do? SHE EXPLOITS IT TO THE HILT ANYWAY!!!

What does that make Hillary? It makes her MORALLY CULPABLE thats what! And by that I mean someone who KNOWS something is morally wrong, but does it anyway simply for personal gain.

Hillary spouts off about how Obama is condescending and "out of touch" and how morally wrong Obama's comments were. Well, Hillary, when you know that isn't the case, and you deliberately LIE about it just so you can win at any costs, with your corporate LOBBYIST PALS backing you up -

 WHO IS THE PHONY, LYING, CONDESCENDING ONE?

Unfortunately for all of us, Archie Bunker is listening to her, buying into the bullshit, just like he did with the Willie Horton ad in 1988, the "affirmative action white hands" ad of Jesse Helms here in North Carolina Senate race against black Democrat Harvey Gantt in 1990, and against John Kerry for going wind surfing. Really, who the hell cares if somebody goes wind surfing?

And Hillary uses THESE SAME TACTICS!!! HELLO Clinton supporters! WAKE UP!!!

As Cenk would say, would Hillary destroy Obama personally just to WIN AT ANY COST? Just to win for herself?
