I've had enough of your Joe Six-Pack, the average man with above-average abdominal muscles.  When it comes down to it, you're creating a singular caricature of a group of people who don't act, think or vote in such a singular way.  Analysis of that caricature's behavior is, therefore, worthless.  By creating the variable "Joe Six-Pack" and attributing it to the majority of America, you are selling America far short.

But what Im trying to get at OneHitKill is that most of the true liberals on this site think way too much of the capabilities of most Americans...  

A lot of people here think that intelligence and rationality will finally break through and become the norm in American Politics... I disagree - It is my belief that most people are too busy with their own lives and survival to become enlightened to the facts on the ground...

Too many Americans dont participate. Too many Americans dont understand whats really going on ion the world. Too many Americans only vote on pure propoganda and advertisement, and thats why we have gotten the people we have!!!

The majority of Americans do not subscribe to TYT, or Limbaugh, or Air America, or Hannity or the likes. The people sitting in the middle do not have interest or time in such squabbles... It is the fact that we need to reach them ON THEIR TERMS is why Liberals do not win the Presidency... we expect them to get involved and to become enlightened on their own - they will not, most of them cannot see past their own noses...

Now am I saying everyone who doesnt subscribe to TYT or liberalism is a bigot racist homophobe? OF COURSE NOT!!!! that would be blatantly stupid and irrational - what Im saying is that there are people who cannot be specifically pigeonholed into one group or another, but Liberals need to do a better job of realizing that the majority of Americans are not Rhodes Scholars...

If that makes me sell America Short, then so be it..., America has sold itself short for years, and now the payment is coming due!!!
