Eric is a very well known and respected commentator here in Canada, and I suspect in the United States as well within the foreign poilcy establishment. So, he is basically telling us what we already know, McCain and his cronies are basically insane. Looking to agitate China, Russia, Iran, Syria. Both to advance an ideological war against any remenants of non-neoliberal government anywhere, meaning empty procedural democracy which offers as Margaret Thatcher said "NO ALTERATIVE" to neoliberal capitalism.

Most people outside of the US know what "democracy" means when the US says "democracy", especially under Bush. I am amazed that most American's don't, but then again Americans never see the aftermath of what they propagate. It is also to protect Israel, which for some reason has become part of the United States for all intents and purposes, a 51st state. So, as Margolis describes as the proto-fascist neoconservatives like Woosley are far too dangerous to be trusted. I hope you Americans vote to make SURE that McCain does not win, not only for yourselves, but for the world!
