Found this letter in Wednesday's Financial Times, commenting on an article about the West Virginia primary, Democrat country keeps its distance from Obama.
The article reminds me of my neighbors. My son once said of his classmates when looking for a girl to date, "The bar is set so low here that I'm just looking for a girl who has teeth."

Sir, I read the article by Andrew Ward ("Democrat country keeps its distance from Obama", May 12), concerning the animosity of West Virginia voters to Barack Obama, such as the comments by Leonard Simpson, 67, who will not vote for Senator Obama because he has heard "he's a Muslim and his wife might be an atheist", as well as the "logic" of Josh Fry, 24, who would vote for John McCain because he wants a "full-blooded American" as president.
Thank you both so much for bringing truth to the old adage of "being as dumb as a post".
