Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks? Take THAT all you "Byrd was a member of the KKK" morons!

WASHINGTON - Sen. Robert C. Byrd, a former member of the Ku Klux Klan and a one-time opponent of civil rights legislation, endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination on Monday.

Byrd said Obama has the qualities to end the Iraq war, which he has strongly opposed.

"I believe that Barack Obama is a shining young statesman, who possesses the personal temperament and courage necessary to extricate our country from this costly misadventure in Iraq, and to lead our nation at this challenging time in history," Byrd said.

What generation gap?

a little sooner? Like before the WV primary? Hello? Maybe it could've been a 39 pt margin instead of 41? ;-)

Byrd made mention of ending the Iraq War as well as having full faith and confidence in Obama and called him a Christian.

Its going to draw superdelegates.

How long until Bill endorses Obama.

Seriously, he does want to be a Supreme Court Justice, doesn't he?

And how mad could Hillary be?  Like she wouldn't do the same thing.

Besides, there is no requirement that a judge be a member of the bar, let alone a lawyer.

There is absolutely no requirements for being a SC Justice.  Notorious Chief Justice Roger Taney got the job by being Andrew Jackson's chief thug (he is the one who emptied the Bank of the US and put the money in Jackson small "pet banks" for you history buff's).  He is kind of the Robert Bork of the 19th century except he got approved and was a billion times less qulaified than even Bork.  And he was one of the worst SC CJ's ever (up there with Reinquist).

The pubs will throw the disbarment at Bill but, c'mon.  The peeps will be down with Justice Bill.  Most people reject the entire witch hunt thing.
