OBAMA WINS GUAM...

By seven votes!

He won 14 out of the 21 districts in the Guam caucuses. Small number of delegates will take place in the Democratic National Convention, but the tiny island will not have a say in the November election.

That Obama could only beat Clinton by 7 votes on an island full of tiny little brown people...

I think he may have more problems than many of you care to admit!

We shall see...

That you stereotype Guam's inhabitants with 'tiny little brown people...'

I think you may have trouble getting dressed more then you admit!

We already see this...

Don't see a lot of white people or black people in Guam, would you prefer "yellow" or have we become so hip that we no longer see color?

Guan Ethnic groups-Chamorro 37.1%, Filipino 26.3%, other Pacific islander 11.3%, white 6.9%, other Asian 6.3%, other ethnic origin or race 2.3%, mixed 9.8% (2000 census)

He won by 7 points!!!! Yeah!!!! what's that you say? I'm misinterpreting the meaning of the word votes??? And there's only 4 delegates at stake? No, its you who misinterprets!

He got up off the mat after the pennsylvania primary! He has MOMENTUM! Holy shit here he comes with the mighty tidal wave sweeping the south pacific, which covers MORE SURFACE AREA than the rest of the continental United states! Hillary was SWEPT in the south pacific!! And quam is full of racists! he won the racist vote in GUAM! O Damn, I'm gonna have to vote for him now.

Yes that right, what's she gonna do now? He's a fighter and a WINNER!!!!! Did I mention he got up off the mat? Oh yeah and, and, and

He still has an insurmountable lead in the delegate tally. Meanwhile all hillary has is overwhelming proof of her ability to make elections close by negative campaigning.

I've got news for you, that technique would work for David Duke, Charles Manson, or any known child molester if they chose to run for president.

Clearly, if there had been a rematch on Midway or Wake or Tinian or Iwo Jima, the forces of Admiral Obama would have annihilated the forces of Bull Clinton.

I don't think I'm your type, and being as I don't believe it's a choice I'm pretty sure your not my type, and never will be.

Upon occasion my humor is a little to esoteric but there was something in the order and phrasing of your post that made that song pop into my head.

Holy shit here he comes

ahh! nevermind it was right the first time. damn I wish I could edit after posting.

I know it's me, but at least your honest when you said
you're right I didn't laugh.

Seems to be a common condition among Obama supporters. They seem to have all lost their sense of humor.

One thing they are good at is being very mean spirited in their name calling against Hillary.

They have learned well the lessons of the Right Wing by insulting and demonizing anyone who stands in their way. Never knew Hillary was evil incarnate until I started reading how "real liberals" feel about her.

Funny for a person who has spent her life working on issues like children's rights and universal health care, has a 96% rating from Americans for Democratic action, 100% from Pro-Choice groups and is despised by the Right Wing I not sure when she became soooooo EVIL.

I suppose it's because she had the nerve  to not roll over and play dead for the ObamaChrist when they declared victory.

First, I don't know who you are, so why should it make any difference to me? I didn't name call Hillary, and I only didn't laugh at your post because it wasn't funny. No irony, sarcasm, nothing. I satirized Hillary's election spin and you offer me a blowjob? I don't even understand your response here, or before. Blame yourself for the retarded setup, not me for capitalizing. Who are you talking to? And now you're giving me the business, a liberal democrat who spent (wasted) the last 15 years defending Hillary and Bill from vicious right-wing attacks, about her work on "issues", not three days from her showing up on the Factor so that she and lufaguy could falafel each other publicly?

I have legitimate policy-rooted gripes about Hillary, and I have defended other Hillary supporters on this forum when I felt they were being unfairly attacked. All this bull about ObamaChrist etc. that I see you guys pushing, only suggests to me that Hillary is the one who enjoys the support of unthinking sycophants.

First I didn't offer to blow you, in fact if you try reading the lyrics its says
When you want to suck to it
Relax don't do it

It's actually a well known miss print as the actual words are sock it, which changes the whole context, but how you can get me offering you a Monica is a little confusing.

When you want to come Frankie

Holy shit here he comes Haz

Come-oh oh oh come Frankie

Oh yeah and, and, and Haz

I told you it was a little esoteric.

Let's see, other "liberals" on this board have called Hillary a bitch, a cunt, a beast, and worse, yet I refer to Obama as Christ and I'm a big mean guy who shouldn't say things like that.

The way some are singing his hosannas I thought for sure The Christ had returned.

Christ-Definition, The Messiah
Messiah-Definition, anticipated Savior
Savior-Definition A person who rescues another from harm, danger, or loss.

Isn't ObamaChrist going to save us all?

That's the impression I'm left with from his disciples who are willing to assassinate anyone who dares disagree with the gospel truths.

Gospel Truths-definition, unquestionable truth.

Just so you'll know Haz I never intended to get into a pissing contest with anyone during the primaries, but I have found the attitude of many ObamaChrist supporters to be plain distasteful.

Most ot the Hillary supporters (which I'm not by the way) have simply tried to argue electability and have a discussion but haven't really attacked Obama, attacked Obama supporters, Yes, but not really Obama directly. Obama supporters attack Hillary, Hillary supporters and anyone who doesn't share their fanatical view of ObamaChrist, and then have the nerve to wonder why some Hillary supporters would rather vote for McCain.

You judge a man by the company he keeps, unless it's Obama.

Words matter, unless those words belong to someone Obama called his MENTOR.

I could go on but it doesn't matter because the Obama supporters refuse to have a conversation.

Sanctimonious in their righteousness, and arrogant in their confidence of victory. So they don't need people like me to vote for their guy because people like me don't matter and shouldn't be allowed to engage in the conversation.

A year ago if you had said I would even be questioning voting for anyone but the Democratic nominee I would have told you you were crazy, but that was before I ran into rabid Obama supporters who don't respect my opinion or care if I support them or not. I won't vote for McCain but there are always a bunch of 3rd party candidates on the ballot, and I'm sure ObamaChrist won't miss my one little vote with the angels on high singing his praises.

I don't speak for "other people on this site", and yet you seem to be having a debate with them through me. I will respond that I am confident in an Obama victory, because he has won.

Its only a question of how much damage Hillary is going to do or what position she's angling for. You can call that arrogant if it makes you feel better. I think its arrogant and presumptuous for a candidate to offer the veep slot to the person who has the insurmountable lead in delegates. I know, I know, insurmountable doesn't mean she is theoretically defeated. I theoretically could be selected as an astronaut on the next space shuttle mission, but its not probable in my view. If that's the conversation you're having there's not much to discuss.

You want to vote for Ron Paul or Ralph Nader? go ahead, they're both great Americans.

You want to vote for Ron Paul or Ralph Nader? go ahead, they're both great Americans.

Maybe that's were we went wrong in 2000 when we tried to convince people who voted for Nader to instead vote for Gore. If only we had encouraged others to vote for someone else we would have gotten enough votes in Florida to not need a recount.

I appreciate your permission to not support my parties candidate. I'm absolutely sure that I'm the only long term Democrat, who has voted Democratic in every election since 1972 who questions whether or not to vote for Obama, so no discussion is necessary. Just attack those who ask questions and tell them to go vote for someone else because your guy has already won.

You're cordially invited to vote for John McCain. He's flying around the country on the "I'm Not Bush!" Tour. He shocked the world in New Orleans this weekend with the admission that Katrina was mismanaged. Look for much, much more of this.

So McCain strategy is now to criticize what Bush did then promise to do exactly what Bush has done.  Wow, I will look forward to much, much more of this.

Honestly, when I hear McCain I hear him saying "Bush was right about everything but he did it incompetently.  Vote for me and I will do it competently."  I have a Marine friend who has been saying this about Bush for a few years now.

I don't think this will work for two reasons.  First, there is absolutely no reason at all to believe McCain will be more competent.  Second, I am pretty sure people don't want even a competent version of Bush/McCain Republicanism.

We'll see.  It will be interesting to see where the polls shift when America sees a united Democratic Party and begins to realize McCain is actually pro-war (with everyone), pro-Bushenomics and now wants to take about employer provided health care and replace it with essentially nothing.  You do understand that about half of McCain's supporters don't know any of this, right?

by ProfRich on 05/06/2008 10:40:18 AM EST

and neither did Obama. Obama has tried to give you positive reasons for voting for him. Hillary has run her campaign against Obama supporters, instead of talking about issues. Look at your posts... all you have is four letter words and self-victimization. You have nothing but put-downs for Obama supporters, accusing them of idolatry. You're the one who uses name calling. Me, I'm voting to get out of Iraq and overthrow the DLC. Ken is right, vote for McCain if that's the one you agree with. God bless America.

Hows this for a sports analogy. Start the buses running, your candidate has lost.

When Hillary is smiling, she is dangerous. She's been doing a lot of smiling lately, and I've seen this before. It means she has a trick up her sleeve. Clinton Inc will keep the election close, and then battle over revotes in MI and FL. Clinton is 12 moves ahead of Obama.

The intellectual, elitist, snob doesn't want us to pay less money at the pump. Meanwhile, Annie Oakley Clinton is muddin' and blastin' and knocking back shots. Next week, they'll have her racing in Bristol. I knew how vulnerable Obama was, but I wanted him to wrap up the nomination before we went to work on him. I'm very, very worried!

Micheal Hirsch just wrote a great essay in Newsweek on Redneck America, and how they control the political agenda. Hillary finally discovered the sweet spot that bobo and lord foul and hubble have been trying to explain to you.

but he doesn't think Hillary's going to win either. I don't see that Hubble has attempted to explain anything to me. This is my first interaction with her that I'm aware of, and it was silly town.

I understand the microtrends stuff, but I think there's something else at work this year. Once in a while major political realignments occur. The republicans have completely failed to guage the public sentiment, even after getting blown out in '06. Nominating McCain buffers them a little against the trend, but not much. For the most part they've continued campaigning and governing as if it were 2002. If they allow a couple more elections go by without public support, people's attitudes toward them are going to solidify.

If Howard Dean and Barack Obama take over the democratic party, they're going to start strategizing to compete in the south. They won't be successful at first, but it won't matter. Dean has been very open about taking the long view. Link the Hirsh article for me... I saw a couple in a quick search that I did, but I wasn't sure which one you were referring to exactly. Hillary doesn't have any vision for the party--at all. Her ascension to the presidency in a down-year would be a major victory for Rove-loving republicans like yourself.

First I'm not a "her".

Second, Silly town? I'm thinking after the tirade you posted that started this conversation the bus that took us to silly town was driven by you. Then you stated I wasn't smiling when I read your post I took it to mean you were attempting to be poignant yet meaningful with a humorous edge that some could view as  ending with a racist comment of "so solly".& nbsp;

I responded with a bad joke you didn't get and we end up with you telling me the Democratic party doesn't need me or my kind. Okay silly town it is.
