We must show the people of the world that we can stand against war, yet not demonize the troops like we did in Vietnam. America was scarred as a nation, as we disguisted our patriotism by shunning our soldiers, when they were decieved by unjust leaders. We cannot blame the soldiers for their deeds, because the soldiers did them in the name of what they thought was good. We cannot blame them because they volunteered, it is because they volunteered that it is a choice in America. If those brave soldiers would not have stepped into that role, the government would take away the right to choose military service, and that's some real shit. Although, I personally will say that I chose not to enlist in this war because I did not agree with the premise, and still do not agree with anything that has gone on before, or during the unjust occupation, I cannot hold myself any higher than a person who did, and I implore you out there, do not hold yourself higher than these soldiers because you don't agree with the war either. It is a disagreement in ideology, but this element of human life is something we have to deal with at this moment in time, and it is sad to say, but World peace will not come within the next 3 years at least. There is a lot of FUCKED UP SHIT going on in the world, and a lot of bad people are still alive. This is something that only time can change. There is no magic wand that will make world peace happen. The first thing that needs to happen, is we need to stop hatin. So next time you feel yourself getting ready to hate on someone, don't just remember how good you have it, because you can be damn sure someone has it worse. For every situation, there is a situation that is worse, and if you don't believe me, next time you are in a bad situation, flat tire, wreck, something like that, if you're still breathing, it could've been worse. I am not trying to be all preachy, but this is something I felt I need to clarify, as It is a hard stance to make to support the military when you don't agree with what they are doing. We must continue to show our support for our troops more than ever, as their spirits have been stretched thin by a deceitful leader and too many tours of duty. If we are quiet about our appreciation, the soldiers will suffer another injustice, as they have given their lives over to serve US, but the government has abused their loyalty. Remeber, Scott Mclellan laid everything out, we were misled, even though I didn't vote for bush, I am still at fault becuase I didn't protest enough. WE ALL DIDN'T protest enough. As much as the world protested with some of the biggest turnouts in history, it still wasn't enough. I shall not say we failed, because the people tried, but the government continuously turned a deaf ear to our pleas.

t; what we were up against, and did not realize that this truly is the "devil incarnate" if the devil really exists.
