The Wright controversy was more about race than religion, how do we know? Hagee who I believe said even more horrible things, talking about the wrath of God through Katrina on the sinful city of New Orleans, reminiscent of Farwell blaming 9/11 on sinful America, did not get the same level of coverage. Both the Hagee and  Wright controversies are media creations. Basically the Wright narrative was, "he's a crazy black nationalist/racist/traitor& quot;. Hagee, because he is 5000 lbs and white, gets a pass, because he represents to many inside and outside of the United States, the pejorative typical American.

When Wright said that America's chicken's came home to roost on 9.11, anyone with any remedial understanding of international politics understands what he is saying. Anyone who hears Hagee or someone like Farwell and believes what they say need to get their head examined.

Maybe Cenk's Hagee YouTube clips are finally breaking through. I sent the last one to as many people as I could and posted it online.

I figure eventually the right person has to see it and force it into the reluctant MSM.

I am glad to see this finally be reported on, but I think we're missing the point when we criticize the MSM. It isn't the mainstream media in general that is the problem. There are a vast number of print outlets and journalists and reporters who do terrific work.

It's mainstream TV media that is the problem. If people paid attention to Newsweek and McClatchy or even the WaPo or NY Times we wouldn't have quite as much of a mess in terms of public perception or knowledge. However, the vast majority of people only get their news from TV. And that is where the problem lies.

Until MSM TV outlets pick up on this stuff and examine it, we aren't making progress. Not any with real impact, anyway. Take Rove and the Don Siegelman case, for example. That was just really one program, Abrams, on one network, pounding the drum on that story. A few people actually became informed of the radical abuse of our justice system for political gain because of Abrams. We need to look for stories to be picked up by TV news, not just print.
