A Call To Action!

I challenge all TYT fans who have Myspace pages to post "Turk Telling Tuesday" bulletins and/or blogs weekly.

1) Go to the TYT YouTube site pick a couple of your favorite videos

2) Copy and Paste the TYT Videos into a Myspace Bulletin or Blog

3) Post Blog or Bulletin

If I have 100 friends on my myspace page, that's 100 people who get exposed to the Young Turks weekly via these Bulletins or Blogs. If 100 TYT fans post "Turk Telling Tuesday" bulletins or blogs, who each have 100 Friends, that's 10,000 people exposed to the Young Turks.

Think about it! In my opinion this is a great way to utilize this amazing networking site to help spread the word of the Young Turks!!!

Same thing goes for Facebook or any other networking site you're a part of.

If there are good youtube clips or good AOL Newsbloggers/Huffington Post TYT articles, I send them to anyone and everyone who might be interested. Worst case they ignore it, which isn't much of worst case.

Best case, they love it and start watching the show and or become a member or at least a TYT YouTube channel subscriber.

I read the bulletins you and Debra post all the time.  I decided to take some action and update my twitter to show I'm watching the show right now.  Ok that's pretty pathetic, but at least it's something.  Though seriously with the upcoming general election, I also think it would be a great time for TYT fans to get creative and proactive in bringing more exposure to TYT.  My mind is turning and I’ll update when the ideas start pouring in.  In the meantime, I think Cenkbot had some good ideas in the chatroom as well.

What is this Twitter thing, I keep hearing about it, but not really sure what it is.

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

it has become really popular.

you probably get e-mails of "clips of the day" from either Dave or Ana.  I send my favorites of these out to the people on my contact list.  It probably does nothing, but it gets the TYT name out, and that half the battle.

Also, buy TYT t-shirts and wear them when you have to run errands or something.  I do that, and people ask me regularly what "The Young Turks" is.  I just direct them to the site, which they probably never look at, but again, it gets the brand out there.

but I made a TYT fansite on myspace. There's not much on it because I wanted it to load as fast as possible.I embedded the ustream chat & the TYT stream on the site, so that you can see them both at the same time. You can even go full screen & the chat is always open.So don't blame Dave if the chat isn't right in your face on the TYT site. You can get the embedable code for the chat from http://www.ustream.tv/theyo ungturks

If you would like the code for the stream, just ask.

And make sure your wives and girlfriends wear them around for errands and to the gym (I bought one for Cheryl for that reason).

There's a good chance that'll get more people to check out TYT.com out of curiousity.

I got two recently myself, but I just realized I might get lots more interest if I actually lived in a place warm enough to wear t-shirts in!  And then it might be worthwhile to cut the nipples out of the shirt.  I bet we could get some new viewers.  Or maybe I would just get new viewers.  I need to think this one through...  ;)  [those last two punctuation marks just for spencer]

They should just sell them with the nipples cut out, because that's how most girls wear their shirts anyway, right?  Or maybe some TYT body paint so we can skip the clothes entirely.

And thanks for the ellipsis.  Apparently everybody read my pet peeve rant, because it's like my catchphrase or something now.
