Wes Clark lookin' a lot like the VP

I really think Wes would make an awesome VP pick for Obama.  He's sure looking good this morning on Morning Joe.  Does anyone know of any reason he shouldn't be VP?  Plus, how awesome would it be that his son would be on The Young Turks?  OR...imagine this:  The fact that Wes Jr. has been on TYT ends up being all over the media, skyrocketing The Young Turks into fame and fortune!!!

I think he would be a great choice.  He's polished and intelligent, he knows Europe and has excellent foreign policy credentials.

whatever they dig up we could always counter by circulating clips of Wes Jr. saying that all these republicans want to do is "smoke the hog". It would be fun to see that point of view debated on cable news.

He TRUMPS a lot of the other CHOICES Obama has to deal with:

Jim Webb - May bring Virginia, but may lose a Dem Senate seat.  Plus he has his response to deal with to TAILHOOK, which was AWFUL and may alienate a lot of Hillary supporters that Obama needs to pick up.

John Edwards - Kinda brought down the Kerry/Edwards "Dream Ticket" with infighting between Kerry and Edwards.  Edwards might do the SAME.  The EGO clash and all.

Bill Richardson - The next BEST choice. Richardson might NAIL the Hispanic Vote and give Obama Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, possibly Florida (though the Hispanic vote there is CUBAN and way more pro-Republican than states with a Mexican, Latin-American vote) and make him competitive in TEXAS, making McCain WASTE resources there, making it easier for Obama to win Ohio and Florida.  In the meantime making it UNNECESSARY to win EITHER Ohio OR Florida, because he can scoop up Electoral votes elsewhere.

Sebilius - She's from Kansas, which is brobably a Lost Cause for Obama.  She does cement the MIDWEST, locking down Michigan and Wisconsin, maybe giving Obama Missouri.  But Wes Clark might also sway neighboring Missouri.

Plus the HillHeads might RESENT giving the Veep to a non-Hillary Female, which is DESPERATELY UNFORTUNATE.

Those hoping for a FEMALE PRESIDENT???  C'mon!!! Get over it!!! Sebilius becoming Veep puts her in the DRIVER"S SEAT in a SUCCESSFUL Obama Presidency as the first FEMALE PRESIDENT in 2016.

CLARK gives Obama UNIMPEACHABLE Foreign Policy CRED.  PLUS the statements he's made against McCain's PRESUMED Foreign Policy Cred makes Clark the PERFECT Attack Dog to send out in the General Elaction against McCain's supposed STRENGTH.  He can REBUT John McCain from SUPERIOR Military Experince in a way NO ONE else CAN!

And he can do so without being seen as politically AMBITIOUS, like Dick Cheney, NOT seeking higher office after Obama is gone.  Which gives him the air of OBJECTIVITY, as Cheney had.

Clark is a good friend of the Clintons and has gone on record as such.

And he was just on MSNBC pummelling McCain and his myth of foreign policy experience. Even though the anchors kept trying to insist that somehow their McCain myth was legit, Clark kept swinging and removing any doubt that McCain is full of it.

I think he is a hawk.  I heard him, when he was a Hillary supporter, talking about invading Iran.  We need to break up the Empire, not keep it going.  Forget the mililtary guys.
