Enough But Not Too Much

If you like this story, digg it!
GWB instructs the congress on disaster relief funding, personally cuts through red tape to get drinking water to Iowans, and dispatches a vital organ to the dead.

From the White House, Dubya recently instructed the apparently dopey congress on how to provide sufficient supplementary funding for potential disasters that still might occur this year. Of course when discussing the midwest floods, he did not mention Katrina at all, nor did he acknowledge the largest overall disaster we have faced and are sadly still facing - his presidency.
But rest assured - Dubya says he sent his heart (as well as the hearts of his staff) to the dead, so we won't have to wonder any more if he actually has one now that it has been sent away. And, as implied by Still-President Bush, the people of Iowa got drinking water only due to his quick actions. Perhaps our FEMA director might not have thought about that possibility, but thank goodness, GWB got right on that problem. Because he's got "what we called a Disaster Relief Fund." Naturally congress is liable to overfund it unless GWB keeps an eye on them.

The final line says it all: "And life, while it may seem dim at this point in time, can always be better because of the resiliency and care of our citizens." I'll leave that for you to interpret as you like.
