Obama making huge inroads

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit

According to Electoral-Vote.com, Obama is making huge inroads in states that are traditionally Republican, and has surpassed McCain in Ohio and Florida:

I think Obama, assuming that a huge scandal doesn't take place, is like Cenk suggests going to murk McCain. McCain can't win the election without Florida, and if Florida continues to trend towards Obama, then it really is over. On top of that, it is very possible that Obama could pick up Virginia, North Carolina, and Nevada. McCain is simply not competitive anywhere outside of the hardcore Republican states. If these trends continue it could 1992 all over again..."everybody's happy, everybody's gay, everybody's swinging in the USA!"

Oh this is going to be interesting, I can't wait!

There's an old addage - something about "counting chickens before they hatch" that comes to mind when I read posts that say its already over... Remember what Lenny Kravitz says - "well honey it aint over till its over..." :)

Bobo thinks "it ain't over till its over" is a Lenny Kravitz quote???

This has to be Ken or someone pulling our leg.

I don't know who made the original quote - I don't really care... I just like that song - early 90s I think... I could have said something to the effect of "till the fat lady sings..." But I didn't want to bring your wife (or my ex wife as well) into the mix - too many complications! :)

Ken take note, that is what an ad hominem attack looks like.

I realize it was a joke, which is why I responded with the "Oh no you didn't".  Quit taking offense to everything.  I was just using this as a "teachable moment" for Ken, since he doesn't understand what an ad hominem attack is.

Just relax and get back to drowning your pain.

made my counter joke more obvious by saying "Oh snap!", but I didn't want to shove that black culture down your throat.

I think it will go hard against all things Republican.  Having all branches under Democratic control is a little troubling though.  There is nothing to create a balance.  Look at what that did for us under the Republicans.

I do think that the Democrats are far more likely to do the things that must be done to save our asses.

I think that is the first time I have seen somebody use the word murk in a political prediction.  Nice

(Don't draw attention to it.  The lame white people will google the term and feign offense.)
