Friends and family concerned

They are afraid the surgery may have damaged the area of the brain that contains his conscience and higher thought processes and he will turn into a republican.

As a lifetime Massachucian, I am proud of Ted Kennedy and  wish him the very best. I have this dream that he will surprise everyone and beat the odds. Never ever count him out!

You haven't heard any bad words from the GOP camp. We don't roll that way. There were no nasty remarks during Clinton's surgery. But just imagine HuffPo and Kos if Tom Delay or Newt Gingrich was having cancer surgery.

In poor taste, probably. Do I wish Ted a full recovery, of course. Like everyone I have lost family to cancer and can empathize with the family. And besides all that, to make him republican you have to remove the entire brain and all the nervous system.
