The War in Iraq costs $720 Million a day.
That’s $500,000 a minute.
That’s $8333 a second.

95% of is taken before it gets to the troops.
It almost all war profits or outright theft.
I used to think that stuff went out withthe civil war
but it's made a big comeback.

I think it goes on with all wars, the difference now is the scale and the lack of control, even complicitness of the administration.

During WWII, they had the Truman Committee, which saved $15 billion! (in those days HUGE). Even more telling is that Truman and the sitting president FDR were from the same party.

I can hear Republicans now about investigating war profiteering "it will heart the war effort", I say it can only get better, the investment/return ratio is appalling in the Iraq War. I mean if troops can't even get armor and you're spending that much, something is rotten to the core.

Allowing, probably aiding, this war profiteering is another reason I think Bushco are traitors to their country. They should not only be impeached, but tried for treason. America's worst enemy has been it's administration.
