The Democratic Party Unifies In Unity, NH.

Obama and Clinton in Unity, NH.

As we all know, Barack Obama and Hiliary Clinton are having their first joint campaign stop in Unity, NH.  Let's examine this.  Obviously the name of the town is perfect. The fact that they both got 107 votes in Unity, NH.  New Hampshire is a battleground state.  This, is, in my opinion a great way to bring the party back together, and I think that it will.  All of the Clinton supporters talking about jumping ship to McCain won't, when Hilary and Obama speak together.  There will be infinite praise from both.  There will be hugging.  And standing ovations.  But, the big question is: Will this unify the party?

Or, is the way to unify the party having Obama pick a white, female running mate?  In an attempt to woo the rest of Clinton's supporters to the Obama ship.

I don't think it will go that far. I think several joint campaign stops between Clinton and Obama, along with a running mate of Gen. Wesley Clark will be plenty.  But, I am curious to hear everyone else's opinions on how to unify the Democratic party.  What'dya guys got?

There is no one thing that will unite these special interest groups to call them a coheisive party - One can only hope that there isn't the spillage or overflow to the McCain camp that some have reported. If there is one unifying factor, it is the Democrats undying hatred for GW Bush. Past that, you can forget your unified dream because it can never happen with the current situation. That's what's wrong with Democrats in general - they hate Bush, but past that, they're as useless as the Republicans - just look at the recent FISA and campaign finance stuff! That's leadership!!!! :)

An Obama/Clark ticket would be unbeatable. I think General Clark has been thinking about taking McCain on since 2005 when I attended a Dem Party fundraiser featuring Wes. When asked who he thought was going to be the Republican nominee in 2008 he said it would be McCain and then he started right in on him. Nobody is better equipped to take on McSame than Clark.

Did you see Clark on Abrams tonight? I do recommend it.
