Remember the furor over the quote from John Kerry about the U.S. military “razing villages in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Kahn”? That quote ran in various 527 spots from August-November 2004.

How is it possible that the Barack Obama quotes will not make it into 527 advertisements?

The simple fact that a black man would have the "audacity" to discuss "white people" Shocking!

Whats shocking is that whites find it so hard to believe that they are not held in universally high esteem by people of color in this country. Why Bill O'Reilly said it best:

"couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia's restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship." O'Reilly added: "There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M-Fer, I want more iced tea.' "

That's just fine apperently. When said people of color point out these issues, they become the racists...amazing.

Of course ,if your a white racist in the first place, out of context quotes will be inflammatory...and like most of your posts inconsequential in the big scheme of things.

So sorry, Ken but Ive asked a panel of experts and their conclusion is:

1. Bill O'Reilly isn't running for president.

2. Barack Obama is running for president.

3. It would be possible for Barack Obama to grow up in the states of Hawaii and Kansas without ever even seeing another black person, all the while studying the writings of Malcom X.

I think Barack Obama reading his own words describing his antipathy towards "white people", that sprang forth spontaneously as he was being raised by white people, in places like Kansas and Hawaii, where there were a lot of white people, makes for interesting political discussion.
