Why would Bush and the Repubs do that?

• Because the bill has a provision a wage provision in the bill that requires builders of veterans housing to pay employees prevailing wage. Imagine that...paying a living wage in America! 
• 57 percent of homeless veterans are African-American or Latino
• The Senate version of the bill is sponsored by Democrat Barack Obama.
  

So...Bush and company:

• roll over for the companies that hire illegal workers...and
  
• show their racist stripes... and
  
• play politics with Veterans.

For Republicans\Conservatives all you need to support the troops is a flag pin and a yellow magnetic ribbon for your Lexus.

All it takes for that commitment to fade is a big fat contribution from the builders lobby, a few veterans of color that would be helped and and opportunity to screw with the opposition in an election year.

Makes you proud doesn't it.
