Fox News' bias for McCain

Did anyone else see the story on Verdict with Dan Abrams last night about how Fox News is running old (2000) footage of McCain in order to make him appear younger and healthier?

As reported on MSNBC by Dan Abrams, Fox News did a story yesterday about a McCain campaign rally/stop in which you can clearly see a www.mccain2000.com sign being held up by a supporter.

I don't believe that you could possibly get better evidence of deliberate, premeditated bias than this.  In running the story about the campaign stop, Fox didn't get the footage from their people covering the campaign, but rather went back 8 years in their archives to retrieve this footage.  The attempt to help McCain is patent on its face.

Along with the recent episode of altering the faces of those two guys at the NYT how could anyone take Fox seriously?

Here is a video of that segment. Then it goes into horrible and laughably bad comments by Ben Stein and Obama.

Yeah, that was pretty obvious.  You'd think someone at FAUX would have caught that.  I can't say that it helped much, though.  It made John McCain go from (2008 version) Fetid Zombie to (2000 version) Fresh Corpse.

I assumed they were using 2000 footage to make it look like McCain could draw a crowd and actually had some support.

But now I think you are right about trying to make him look younger.  Maybe both are true.

I wonder if we ask Fox if they will tell us.

Typical idiot libs always out to pretend the media is conservative.

How about Fox made an honest mistake?? Their teh only network that has actually covered this whole thing fair and square! The rest of the media is in love with that rockstar osama.

PS---If Obama wins the election I'm moving to the America.

You mean like having 8 year old footage on the same camera you were using to record a current event, then downloading the wrong file?

Seriously?

Obviously, they had to go into the archives and retrieve "mistaken" footage.

Go troll somewhere else.

The funny thing is, I try my best to be so over the top that it's blatantly obvious I'm pretending but I guess it still doesn't work.

Sadly that's because so many conservatives today ARE horribly uninformed, misinformed and illogical.

Remember way back when Fred called me a troll.  Oh, memories...  It's really hard to convincingly outdumb a conservative.  The bar has been lowered so far that everything ends up looking like a parody.

Because we have honest-to-god conservatives on this site that spew completely over-the-top nonsense just to get a rise out of the natives.
