they re-elected Berlusconi because he was the first in a very very long time, that was able to keep his government together, other governments always fell apart, that's the reason.

that being said, can you see the similarities between Bush and Berlusconi?
Changing laws to grand them and their cronies immunity :)
And don't kid yourself people, where as fascists form seperate parties in Europe, they do also exist in America, they are just members of the Republican Party.

One big difference between Bush and Berlusconi however: Berlusconi is a hugely successful business man, who didn't need daddy and his oil friends to get him where he is. That being said: I hate both men's policies.

...between Bush and Berlusconi, as with Putin: you know Berlusconi and Putin are pulling the strings and are the ones in charge, in contrast to Bush tends to be the handpuppet for a variety of people.

Not defending Putin, who I consider a treator (for the shit he pulled in Saint-Petersburg in the early 90s) and Berlusconi on policy, but they are strong and intelligent leaders, where as Bush is... well a weakminded airhead :)

Yes, you're right, Berlusconi didn't need his daddy's help, he is the quintessential corrupt businessman himself.

never said he was a clean business man, just said that he's been succesful.

Bush is also corrupt (let's not forget the Dallas stadium), but again Bush can't compete. We all know Bush would have been a drunk begging for change, if it was because of his rich family.

...the Alleanza Nazionale (former MSI) are. They're also in Berlusconi's "People of Freedom" coalition. And get this: the AN even have Mussolini's granddaughter as an MP.

saw her in the European Parliament, she's one of the few who actually call themselves fascist. But take FN (France) and Flemish Bloc (Belgium), althought the don't say they're fascist, everyone else in the country think they are.

...to a point. Although the MSI trace their roots directly to the "Social Republic" of Salo - which makes them rather unique in that they're not even "neo-" fascist, but a true continuation.
