active combat troops support Obama to McCain 6-1!!!

http://www.jedreport.com/20 08/08/obama-leads-mcc.html
according to a jed report clip from CNN, active duty troops fighting in iraq have donated over $60,000 to the Obama campaign as opposed to McCain's $10,000 and $45,000 to Ron Paul. judging from the evidence so far from the video, it appears that troops serving in Iraq are tired of the war and want to come home as soon as possible. the rest of the video confirms my theory.
as troop terms keep getting extended, more and more are beging to question the war. assumming the 6-1 ratio applies to all active combat forces, that means of the 177,000 troops stationed in Iraq, only 16% support the war. the only possible way i could see the troops favor lower is if they were all drafted.

Can this be true, after our new friend has assured Ken that he was going to deliver the "military" vote for McStain?

How can this be? Must be part of a dastardly plot by that Lie-brawl media.

The question we must now ask is who are you going to believe, reliable sources or Mr. Con?

Every four years, Democrats claim they will win the military vote, and every four years the GOP wins the military vote by huge margins.

And the GOP wins the veteran vote by large margins.

Polls back in 2004, when things were going very badly in Iraq, indicated the military was sticking with Bush.

Polls in 2008 show that veterans, especially Navy men like Hubble and Fred, plan to vote for Commander McCain.

Hubble is talking big now, but I'm pretty sure he plans to shave his legs, put on that cute little mini skirt and 5 inch heels, and cast his vote for McCain in November.

past dude.

Those Soldiers and Marines were on their first and seond tours in 04.

Now that they are on their 3rd and 4th it is a different story.

Don't insult Hubble like that. He has stated multiple times that he has always voted Democrat and a veteran who should be thanked for his service.

MrFred voted for McCain most likely for the same type of reasons you voted for Obama. He is also a veteran and should be thanked for his service.

Show some respect you neo con puke.

Thanks again for voting John McCain.

Thanks again to all the veterans and active military who vote overwhelmingly Republican.

Would anybody like to bet me about the vote of active duty military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan?

I say that McCain will win a majority of this vote. Are there any takers?

Hello?

Hello?

take it.

Anyone telling the troops that they have to spend one more day in that hell hole then they absolutely have to does not get their vote. McCain also was abgainst the Webb bill and trust me they know it.

There are a lot of military bases up in my "neck of the woods" and I have a lot of friends who are active duty including the LT. Colonel who's Super Bowl party I went to. They will all tell you the same story, the boys want to come home.

I say John McCain will win any exit polls (from a credible polling organization or Military Times) of active duty personnel, voting from from Iraq and Afghanistan.

What do you think is a proper bet here?

by z1p101 on 08/17/2008 05:33:30 AM EST

Loser will post his photo on the website.

Remember, the exit poll must be from a credible source, and measure the results of how active military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan voted in the November election.

Define a credible source because your's are generally.......

That is the best you could come up with? Why are you so curious what I look like?

The credible source should be something we can both agree on, like Reuters, AP, Newsweek, Washington Post, Military Times.

The payoff should be something that is easy for both of us to do, and for all forum participants to witness.

The added benefit of a photo is that it's something you really don't want to do.

I know what you're thinking, if McCain wins, you'll simply quit posting in the forum, and then you won't have to pay off the bet. But there is always the possibility that McCain wins the military vote, and loses the election. Then, you'll be faced with a tough decision.

I'm not at all confident of a McCain victory in the election, but I'm supremely confident of a McCain victory with the military vote. Nobody signs up for five tours of duty in Iraq to kill al Qaeda, and then turns around and votes for a worthless piece of shit like Barack Obama. That's why I'm calling this bullshit right here and right now in this fucking thread.

Calling all Turks!: Does anybody else want a piece of this action?

you think I don't want to post a picture?

Do you want me do describe myself before I do bet or not? I am in my late 30's. I weigh between 170 and 190 lbs. I am between '5"10 and '6"2. I have the traditional North Eastern looks of someone with a combination of UK and Eastern European genes (common in these parts). My family history runs as far back as the Revolutionary War and as recent as 3rd generation immigrants. Typical American mutt if you want to call it that. I am fair skinned, have a full head of black hair with a few grays (10 to 15) starting to show up and have ice blue eyes.

"Nobody signs up for five tours of duty in Iraq to kill al Qaeda, and then turns around and votes for a worthless piece of shit like Barack Obama".

Because that is how they support their family. Not all of us are lucky enough to be our Dad's overpaid messenger boy.

Describe yourself. I'm betting (from your constant posts that OHK pointed out) that you are the typical South Western American mutt. Nothing wrong with that as long as you don't try to use it as an excuse for something.

z1p101:  Good to see you taking a few shots at Kenny!  Also, the 6 to 1 ratio among the troops proves or solidifies that common sense crosses all lines, pierces barriers, has no cultural preference and has been around for thousands of years.  Yet, it seems to be not well-known among the republican far right, despite it's longevity the world over and, easily understood by the left.

Common sense is something staunch righties like Ken have not researched.  It is strongly believed that the Republican leadership firmly advise constituents to stay as far away as possible from this concept.

For their safety I will give a small example of "common sense."  You do not walk off the deep end if you do not know how to swim.  Watch for which end the toddlers and their moms are playing and tip toe in at that end.

If you get confused, there will be a life guard on duty.  Ask.

Your poor command of the english language makes you sound like an imbecile. On the other hand, if English is your primary language, then you are an imbecile.

Here, try this. Rather than employ babelfish, send your ideas to a friend who understands english, and have them translate it for you.

OK? Are we cool? Are we still friends?

Understand? Comprende?  Capiche? Wakarimasuka?

I double-translated that post (English to Japanese, then back to English) with Yahoo Japan's babelfish and this is how it turned out:

The power to handle having weak you by an english language lets you hear you like a fool. On the other hand, you are a fool if English is your main words.

Here, please try this. Let I please send your thought to a friend understanding english rather than use babelfish and them translate it for you.

Is it OK? Are we cool? Are we still friends?

Did you understand it? Is it Comprende? Is it Capiche? Is it Wakarimasuka?

The Bush administration has done terrible damage to the military during the last seven years. Our military was not designed or intended to be used as a long-term occupying force and trying to use it as such has spread it dangerously thin. So it is no surprise that the people who are most affected by these reckless policies are donating to candidates who want to end the occupation. As opposed to McCain who wants to continue the occupation indefinitely and who seems to think that war is always the answer to foreign policy issues.
