Young Turks Fans Rock in Boulder, CO

If you live anywhere within a 300 mile radius of Boulder CO and you didn't show up for the Sunday night meet up of Young Turks listeners, you messed up. It was a wonderful gathering attended by about 20 Young Turks fans - the best attended Young Turks meet up ever.  We had listeners who first heard the show at the very beginning six years ago, and some who just discovered it recently.  I was delighted to meet some people with whom I've been communicating in other ways for years.  I want to thank everybody who came. I would do it one by one, but there were so many people that I fear accidentally leaving somebody out.  

I kind of pushed to call the night off a bit early because I thought we would head over to the Pepsi Center to set up for tomorrow, but we chickened out, and now the wild and crazy Young Turks are home by 10:30.  We should be well rested tomorrow for the first day of the convention.

I got to hang with Cenk when he came to YearlyKos in Chicago last year; I think a good time was had by all.

In retrospect I am really wishing I had bought a ticket to Denver for the DNC; I think it would be a great networking opportunity and a whole mess of fun.

Yes, it was swingin' at the Sun, and a good time was had by all.  Great to finally meet you characters and pop my head up, thanks to the expert planning of my lovely wife.  Looking forward to more action this week.  Bring on the black helicopters!

I am so pissed that I wasn't able to come down for that and with classes starting this week I won't get to come down for any of the convention either. I feel like a total failiure...

Please come back after the convention?

Missed Meet-Up (none / 0)
I was hoping there would be a meet up, but Boulder is a long way from Denver. Even if I could afford the gas to get there and back, I'm not sure my 17-year-old car would make it. I scheduled my use-it-or-lose-it vacation for this week, so hopefully there will be something in town later this week...
