Hillary Haters Need to Shut The Fuck Up Now...

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit
For all of you Hillary Hating Kool Aid swimmers out there I am telling you right now - Shut The Fuck Up - if Obama loses now its his fault, not hers!!!

Hillary just made everyone who was somewhat unsure realize that they picked the wrong candidate for president - but besides that - She just did everything she could have possibly been expected to to bolster up Obama, propping him on HER SHOULDERS to win this election.

Its the Hillary Voters who are gonna put you Obama people over the top - not you Kool Aid smug ass people.

I want all of the Hillary Haters to take a minute to think about what just happened - your guy and his wife have just been literally shoved into the spotlight - Hillary has exonerated herself from any responsibility on their behalf -

IF THEY DONT REACH OUT TO THE HILLARY VOTERS, THEY DESERVE TO LOSE!!!

And furthermore - Hillary should have at least been VP - that Ticket would have spanked Johnny Boy back here to Arizona. Joe Biden is a pussy compared to Hillary!!!!

Its up to Barack now - he better live up to the hype...

You must have been watching the fox news broadcast...  Seriously though her speach pretty much sucked.  Yes it tried to push unity which is good, but other than that it was underwelming.

by alphasigmookie on 08/26/2008 11:45:46 PM EST

I watched it on CNN - and what happened afterward was amazing -

The camera panned to Anderson Cooper and he was standing there seemingly stunned, and he turned to Campbell brown and said "How did Obama NOT pick her as VP?"

And Campbell brown - the biggest Kool Aid drinker at CNN said in response "I really dont know..." and shook her head in disbelief...

That says it all right there - Obama supporters just better shut the fuck up - its his fault if he loses now, not hers...

You should've watched the speech on MSNBC (the best of the cable news networks by far).

Clinton's speech was damn good. Funny enough, it's not to shut up the Clinton "haters", it's to shut up to the stubborn hold-outs who now have NO good reason to whine about Obama and claim they'll vote for McCain.

The End

If Fox is Right Wing, Then MSNBC has fallen off of the cliff on the left - their anchors are literally fighting on air!!

Scarborough and David Shuster today, Scarborough and Olbermann yesterday...

And their coverage is crappy - they show all those boring ass speeches that no one listens to...

And Tom, it is shut up to the Hillary haters - the ball is firmly in Obamas hands now - if he fucks it up its HIS fault, not hers...

I think theres a lot of "buyers remorse" coming on - Lots of these Dems bought a bucket of warm piss called "change" and realize it aint gettin them anywhere real fast - A lot of Dems realize who SHOULD have been nominated now...

MSNBC has a tiny bit of balance. Sure, there's Olbermann and Maddow but there's also Scarborough and Buchanan.

Besides, almost all of the others are "moderates" (i.e. people are supposed to be in the middle but who often buy the Republican framing and or as Cenk says go out of their way to not appear to be liberal).

And not only will there not be buyer's remorse, but I think this convention will do a world of good for Obama. That's between Biden helping undecided voters connect to the Obama ticket and Hillary putting the dagger in many (not all, but most is my guess) of the Hillary hold-outs.

The Scar/Shuster dust up was okay, but Shuster freezes when he's challenged. Still fun to watch, but the better one was when Scarborough was giving an "analysis" and in the background you can hear Keith say, "Geez, why not use a shovel?" High-Larry-Us!

You can find it at Crooks & Liars.

There was a great interview of Susan Estridge ("Susan Estrogen") on the Greta Van Susteren show tonight. I can't link it yet, because it's not yet available on YouTube.

Both Greta and Susan are lifelong committed Democrats, and they were analyzing the impact of Hillary's speech on the PUMAs and assorted Hillary lovers.

The primaries are over. The VP selection is over. Hillary has conceded. Hillary gave the speech. Hillary begged her supporters to get behind Barack.

But according to Greta and Susan, the speech only served to make Hillary's supporters love Hillary even more. They are more angry now than they were before the speech.

Greta is an expert on this subject, because she is constantly in contact with Hillary Girls on her blog.

Greta and Susan are both loyal Democrats and they certainly don't want McCain to win. But they both agreed that if McCain chooses a strong, qualified, credible woman VP, it is game over.

CNN's John King: "She passionately supported Barack obama... She's a big game player, that was a big-game speech... she did what Obama wanted."

James Carville: "This is what a major-league fastball looks like."

Keith Olbermann: "A grand slam." (Olbermann also reported that on Clinton's way out to the podium and after she returned from delivering her speech, she was given a standing ovation by Obama staffers.)

Bill Richardson: "She couldn't have been clearer... She hit a huge home run, a 500-foot homerun. The best news is Democrats are unified."

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow: "Anybody who could be persuaded would be persuaded by that speech...She nailed it."

Wolf Blitzer: "Exactly what Barack and Michelle Obama wanted to hear."

Anderson Cooper: "This speech has electrified everyone in this crowd."

"If you hear the dogs, keep going.

If you see the torches in the woods, keep going.

If they're shouting after you, keep going.

Don't ever stop. Keep going.

If you want a taste of freedom, keep going.

Even in the darkest of moments, ordinary Americans have found the faith to keep going."

I heard all the fawning the MSM did over the speech, it doesn't mean I agree with it.  Yes she said everything she needed to say to "unify" the party which is good.  If that is the sole critera for judging the speech then I agree it was "a home run".

However, beyond that point I thought it was rather weak and uninspiring.  It very much made me glad she did not win and was making the speech on Tuesday instead of Thursday.

I keep hearing from these Hillary supporters "Obama neeeds to reach out to us, or we aren't going to vote for him". What exactly does this mean? How the hell can he "reach out" even more?

Quite frankly, I don't think he can do anything to satisfy these people. They are irrational; I have talked to them. My sister in law (whom I love), is one of these people. I have talked to her until I was blue in the face, and she will never vote for Obama because she is pissed Clinton didn't win. It doesn't matter Obama is more in line with her political ideology. She was "just in it for Hillary".

I just don't get these people.

I think it can be summed up like this for die hard Hillary people -

Why should we vote for Obama and simply not vote against McCain?

Obama has not given many people a reason to vote for him. He and his supporters are just out there selling their warm bucket of piss named "change", but they havent given the Hillary people nor the independents a lot to get excited about...

What has Obama done for them lately?

Plus, after last night, I think many of the Hillary supporters and a few of the Obama supporters realized that the Dems picked the wrong guy - it'll be very obvious when he loses close battle with Grandpa Death...

But you are right to say that many Hillary supporters will never be satisfied with Obama, no matter what he does or says - its kinda like asking a Red Sox fan to cheer for the Yankees - yeah, its the same game, but some lines shall never be crossed!

was a much, much better choice than Hillary.  If he chose Hillary, we would have heard nothing but "Bosnian sniper fire" every hour, on the hour, until election day.  Including from you.  Also, an Obama/Clinton ticket would be more vulnerable to the inevitable October Surprise than an Obama/Ridiculous-Foreign-Po licy-Credentials ticket.

She gave a great, persuasive speech tonight, and I give her a lot of credit for it.  In fact, I donated a little to her for the first time.   That speech will have a much greater effect than an ordinary campaign commercial.  Those kind of things win and (not in this case) lose elections.

by jjpotter on 08/27/2008 12:38:56 AM EST

It is about the Democratic Party beating the Republicans, and anyone who isn't on board can leave the party, like Lieberman is.  If places were switched, and Obama's best chance of winning was foiled by a young upstart Hillary joining the race, I would get over it and work for Hillary.  She's young and can run again too!  The die-hard Hillary women who are threatening to vote for McCain are not necessarily a group full of intellectual giants.  They are sheep led by crazy people and republican rabble-rousers.  Do you really think Hillary is about to give up her political ambitions?  If you really love her, support her--god bless and go forward because I will be right beside you.  Oh, but I'm not a Hillary hater.  I don't really know any.

I suspect that this whole “conflict” has been manufactured by the media.  The media has definitely overblown the whole thing.  Look how McCain and Romney acted towards each other in their Primaries.  They literally hate each others guts but I never hear how McCain needs to reach out and heal the Romney voters.

But lets assume that this rift is real…

I would guess that half of the alleged 20% Hillary voters who won't back Obama were Republican's voting in open primaries with the hope of motivating their base against Clinton in the General election.  The remaining are either racists or just plain hysterical (yes I said the “h”-word) because there is NO rational reason for a Clinton supporter to vote for McCain.  None!

Regarding the hysterical people in the mix…it is not about Barack. These people would have been pissed with whomever got the nomination.  In a Just world the Hillary supporters would now be saying, "Kucinich is not showing the proper respect to women or Clinton."  "Kucinich needs to reach out to Hillary voters or else"

Lets face it Clinton represents more of the same.  Most people are sick of the idea of a continuing Bush/Clinton dynasty in the White House.   Our country needs something different and Barack Obama fits the role perfectly.  Hell, I would vote for Ficus over McCain or Clinton.  And as a rational person, I would vote for Clinton in a second over any Republican.

Hilary did not shove Obama into the spotlight, he earned every ounce of his success.  HILARY LOST!  Those of you so self absorbed that you can't let it go need to shut the fuck up!  Hilary gave a great speech because she realizes what is at stake this election.  If your pride is preventing you from thinking realistically about the nature of the primaries and now the election than you deserve the proverbial fall.  Also, Biden has ten times the experience that Hilary has, Obama made the right choice so quite your bitching.

Democrat Barack Obama's selection of Joe Biden as a running mate is complicating Republican John McCain's analysis of his prospective vice presidential contenders...
