All the attention has been focused on how well the Dems did at the convention, but this misses the bigger point. The Dems made this historic turn, changing course from decades of docile, insipid, ineffectual politics that insured failure, by RESPONDING to the progressive movement structure that has developed. It was WE who put the fire to the tail of these idiots. It is because we have put together a power base that can mobilize and motivate, like the Republic machine before us, that has caused a Democratic presidential campaign to shift course in midstream. That's the headline of the last week. We have finally arrived, indisputably, as a major player.
