Simplicity of Republican Logic

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit

The Republicans are playing the female card.  They are playing "Go Fish".  If my fellow TURKS will remember, this game is for children or tweens.  It is a mindless game of "gotcha" although it has been so long I have difficulty remembering the rules.

McSame "went fishing".

McCain will end up pulling the most repugnant SOB out of the media .... wait.... sorry.... Faux Noise is not media, its white noise.  He, I am afraid will have to pull out the joker Karl Hannibal Lector Rove to attempt to pull himself from the bottomless well he just threw himself down.

Maybe his advisors are having acid flachbacks or are so terrified by Obama they rushed to quash the "big mo" generated during the past week at the dem convention.  Take it from me, they have shit their pants.  When fear dominates, judgment can become impaired.

My thinking is the repthugnant strategy was "lets find a woman in our party to place on the ticket and all the Hillary women will come straight to her." I know, this is simplistic, but think about it.  It is the republican party afterall.  "Say no more."

The Hillary backers have been reasoning with their emotions lately.  Some have even signed on with McSame.  However, I do believe that the vast majority of them are not idiots.  I do not think they will flock to Sarah baby because Sarah wants to repeal the right for a woman to have a say so over her own body.  The Hillary backers hopefully will recognize that this is a freakin ploy to get their vote.  In effect, they are being tricked.  Hopefully they will not fall for it and will overcome the tendency to reason with their heart and not their head. I do not believe the Hillary people are as stupid as the wingnuts that voted for Bush in 00 and 04. Those  lunatics voted against their own interest because Hannibal got issues on the table such as gay marriage and "be very afraid."

I hope I am right, and the die hard Hillary people will see thru this horse shit and vote to enhance their own ideology/interests.

Obama has seen this before.

"Hey, the Democrats are running a black guy for the open senate seat in Illinois ... I know, let's run ALAN KEYES!!!  His blackness will surely counteract Barack's.

What?  Seriously, only 27% of the vote?! ... oopsies."

I just heard a discussion on David Bender's show questioning whether the Repubs really think the voters are stupid enough to buy Palin for VP.  The answer is OF COURSE! They thought we were stupid enough to pick their hand-groomed boy, George.  And we proved them right.  She's a "good ole girl" just like he was a "good ole boy".  The Republican party is sooooo elitist, they think the electorate will believe any lie, any spin, any *#!#% they want to dish out.  Hopefully, enough of the 40 Mill who saw myBO talk last night, know better.

say a great line in the car today.

He said something like 'this pick isn't out of left field, it's out of far-far right field".

Why a voter votes the way they do.  I'm not going to deny that Sarah at least gives the Republicans someone to be excited about.  She's much more of a true conservative than Bush or McCain.  Too bad her lack of experience trumps all.
