Immediately following Obama's speech CNN.com cut to a Republican for analysis.

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit

I watched Obama's speech live on CNN.com and was disgusted at their "reporting".  ; As soon as Obama was done delivering one of the greatest speeches I have ever seen, CNN went to a Republican for her insights.  She gave Obama a C, a fucking C!  She went on to say how he didn't live up to the hype.  She also railed against the setting of the stadium, saying it was too "big" and he was being presumptuous.  The main stream media is so infuriating.  Why go straight to a GOP tool so she can regurgitate pathetic talking points?  Oh because Obama represents change that scares the living hell out of the powers that be.  Watching this no name Republican do her best Ann Coulter impression, trying to diminsh a historic accomplishment is disgusting.  I will bet you that they will not go to a Democrat immediatly following McCain's acceptance speech.  It is because of these propaganda outlets spewing their misinfrmation that Obama isn't obliterating McCain in the polls.

I was riding on a high after hearing Obama nail it out of the park (sorry for the cliched baseball metaphor) only to have CNN and their shameless bias send me into a fit of frustration.  Those bastards will never stop their bull shit machine.  It makes me fucking sick.

"Lou Dobbs and Pat Buchanan... are speaking the truth."

Maybe even he'll be sold now.  I doubt it, but maybe.

I don't know this person, but what a twit. At most, the general themes that Obama invoked were the same themes that others have invoked, but that is because, guess what, he is a Democrat. Will Sanchez say the same thing about the Republicans when they invoke personal responsibility and lay into the fear mongering?

What are you? Some kind of moron.

She was a former candidate on Martha Stewart's Apprentice!

She didn't win, mind you, but she competed!

Now she is a hack for the Republicans to run out when they want to pretend they don't hate the brown people.

Ok, in all seriousness, I had to Google her and I did not even know Martha had a show like that but still.  This woman is clearly a heavy hitter, big time celebrity and major player in the pundit world.

I actually heard her before when I ran out of TYT/Maddow Podcasts and listened to POTUS on XM (way better than Schultz or Rhodes) and she was interviewed.  She explained to me that the Republican party just LOVES the brown and every Hispanic knows this and any poll that says otherwise is a liberal lie and smear from the party that takes minorities for granted.  Really.

She came across as a vapid, twenty-something airhead moron and I recall thinking: minority female GOP operative masquerading as an "expert".  Bet she's pretty cute.  Now just in case you think I am being too hard on the poor little chickita, she's a'ight.

...but why the fuck is CNN going to Glenn beck BEFORE the convention is called to order?  On day 2, Beck was going off on how Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton "don't like each other."  How the fuck does he know?  He doesn't.  It's just one of the ways CNN was pushing the "the Democratic party is not unified" theme of their first two days of coverage.

I agree with you, Meme.  They made me sick.  That's why I tuned in to CSPAN for Days 3 and 4.

(Still not 100% convinced on Carville's sneakers, but let's make that water under the bridge. Good post.)

Nothing brings us together like a common enemy.   It worked for the Democratic party and it worked here at TYT!

"She also railed against the setting of the stadium, saying it was too "big" and he was being presumptuous. "

What else can you do when your opponent is phenomenally popular?   People are drawn to people who speak truthfully and from the heart.  This is a sure sign that the opposition is scared and on the defensive.  I absolutely love it.  It's a sign, and I don't mean "a sign" in the nebulous new-age psycho babble sense.  It's a sign of the mood of the public in general.
