Is Sarah Palin's 5th child actually her GRANDchild?!

Oh snap.....

I just found something very interesting while on Democratic  Underground... it lists two articles by the dailykos and Current tv asking whether Palin's 5th child, born with down syndrome, is actually her daughter's child.

I know, I know, I know... but look at it closely. Before the child was born her daughter was pulled out of school from what looks like anywhere from between 5 to 8 months because she was sick with "Mono".

In the mean time Palin suddenly announces to everyone she's like 7 months pregnant, but you look at the pictures from that time there seems to be ZERO physical indication of her being with child. However, you look a pictures of the daughter and she's got a little belly going on.

Ok, so that could just mean she needs to lay off the carbs, but could you imagine? I mean I saw a lot of people saying even if it were true "Oh, she's just protecting/defending her daughter", but is that it or is she protecting/defending herself and political career by not allowing her daughter to destroy her "family values/Christian/holier than thou" image? A question I ask as a proud Christian myself.

I don't know, but I think this needs to subtlety, but persistently chased down and explored. check the thread:

Palin's "Family Values" Hypocrisy?

what people don't seem to realize is that republican species propagates through incest.

follow the chain of logic to its obvious conclusion.

I read this, and there seem to be enough details to raise the question.  I would like to see photos from previous pregnancies at the seven-month stage to compare.  With four older children, there have to be some.  I think it is admirable for Sarah Palin to raise this child, but if she is lying about the child and its parentage, it cannot stand.

I guess the abstinence teaching didn't work.

Just watched the video and Gov. Palin looks pregnant to me. The puffy face, the veiny hands, the way she's holding her hands in front of her belly, the baggy clothes, etc. Even though she's a Republican, I still prefer to believe people until they are proved wrong or are known to be repetitive liars.

I agree the story about the teenager sounds a bit suspicious and no one recommends you stay out of school so long with mono anymore - that long recuperation advice went out about 20 years ago. There are some suspicoius circumstances, but no proof. I'd need to see something more conclusive than that blogger's various off-the-wall theories about how one is supposed to look when pregnant at such and such a month, with their fourth child, etc., before I believed this accusation.

I believe it is Palin's child, not grandchild. Follow this link:

You see that having a child with Down's Syndrome in your teens is pretty remote.

Also, many people hide the fact that they are pregnant if the pregnancy is high-risk and they think they may lose the child. They do not want to reveal the pain of a miscarriage until they have had time to deal with it themselves.

Remember, too, that part of conservative Christian values is that a mother should stay home and care for the children. The fact that this child has special needs would have and will draw critics that she is neglecting her primary responsibility by continuing to have a political career.

I was the 4th pregnancy of a mother over 40. She gained only 17 pounds with me, while gaining 50 pounds and 30 pounds respectively for my older brothers (she had one miscarriage). My mother always said, "Every pregnancy is different."

I think if you're looking for a scandal with Palin, you won't find one here.

i read about this on daily kos & democratic underground, not just the stories themselves, but the comments & although anyone at any point in their lives could give birth to a Down's Syndrome baby, just because she could be pretending it's hers instead of her daughter's only shows that she loves her daughter sooooo much...

Down's Syndrome babies require alot of love & attention, they have significant health issues all along the way...and I hope the Palin family has enough $$$ for a full time nanny and all the $$$ for all those doctor visits and...oh wait, they're in unions so they get health care, i guess...

I dunno, it's a ticklish subject, even if it is true, i think it's more important to say that she has zero experience and a squeaky voice and leave it at that, unless your in chat room in which case you are free to mention her name and the Lincoln Tunnel in the same breath.

I'm not saying anything, i'm just saying.

Oh, and where is Bobo on this crucial issue?????

We already discussed this one Friday night on an older forum, and Bobo tried his best, you can find his insightful comments on the forum called (that we posted) Sarah Palin: YOU ARE NOT THE MOTHER.

Enjoy:)
