Andrea Mitchell or Judy Woodruff GILF Poll

I just caught this weekend's Meet the Press panel and I have to ask Andrea Mitchell or Judy Woodruff?  I haven’t seen my beloved CNN ex, Judy “Chicken Throat” Woodruff, for a long time now and it was great seeing her back in action.  I have to admit Judy’s looking pretty good for her age, though Andrea, the joker face “I made love with a peacock,” gave “the Wood” some serious competition with her youth and hip blonde shimmer/black roots.  I also have to ask, why didn't Judy ever get the neck pullback and did it kill her career at CNN?

Jazzchick requested pics - so here they are:

Judy Woodruff

Andrea Mitchell

For the record, I’m going with Judy even with the neck, though let the poll decide.  On a side note, why can’t more Republican strategists be like Mike Murphy?  I’m so over strategists so don’t get me started on Leslie Sanchez or any other Black Republican run amuck on CNN or MSNBC.

I think Cenk has that one on lock down with his mutiple mentions of that Oscar-worthy title, "Bust a ____ in Grandma's ______" and obsession with Thailand trannies.

an Oscar worthy title.

you know who I decided has become really attractive? Linda Cardellini. She's really, really cute.

by ihavenobias on 08/04/2008 07:03:46 PM EST

[ Parent ]
And she's strong too.  Even further off topic, Freaks and Geeks is better than anything Judd Apatow has done in recent memory.  I mention it because she was much cuter on that show than she is on ER.

I think you're going too far! I've seen bits of Freaks & Geeks, and while I saw her potential, I think she looks better now.

Although I don't watch ER. I've also never seen more than a few miserable minutes of Scooby Doo 2, but she was hot in that.

That's all.  She's been looking pretty standard lately.  Either way, that video I posted is hilarious, and you hate America if you don't think so.

Yeah, it's funny but you know what's funnier? You're right AND wrong about hair color.

The *best* hair color is that in between brown and blond.  I'm not sure what it's called...brunette with some highlights?  Generally red hair is my least favorite (no offense to the red heads out there) with jet black hair being second (especially when paired with pale skin, that's more Rev's style).

But that super fake, light blond (aka, white) hair with an over-tan is brutal too.

PS---I will say that brunette with blue or green eyes is a killer combo. It automatically boosts up the attractive rating by one point over dark eyes (and yes, Cheryl is a brunette with green eyes).

Brunettes rule. Here's an example.
yes!

so you like the girls with the crooked smiles, eh?

She's cute but a little too tall and boyish sometimes. Note that tall doesn't automatically equal boyish, but in this case it does.

She does have colored eyes though, so that's a plus. Then again she totally looks like Michael Jackson in the thumbnail version of this pic.

by ihavenobias on 08/04/2008 11:28:29 PM EST

All pale white brunettes look like Michael Jackson if the thumbnail is small enough.

I don't know who this Linda Cardellini character is, but Velma in SD 2 definitely gets my thumbs up.  Also nice Holmes pic, but for some reason I get all sad whenever I see her.

She looks just a touch dead inside.

by Spencer on 08/05/2008 12:22:40 AM EST

Maybe Cindy looks dead inside on account of the decades of emotional and verbal abuse and affairs by her husband through all of which she has to be on display as a stepford wife every second.

I could see that taking something out of a girl.

So I'll edit your comment to make it fit:

Maybe [Katie] looks dead inside on account of the [years] of [Scientological?] abuse and [gay] affairs by her ["husband"] through all of which she has to be on display as a [good thetan] every second.

I could see that taking something out of a girl.

There, that's better.

I'm all about the Woodruff. Andrea Mitchell is some sort of demented lookin inbred midget troll from Oz, but I do like her politics. The Woodruff on the other hand, when she does that Carmen Diaz hairflip thingy. oh ya, booya, she's like a Prell-girl-on-acid frozen in time in 1977.

What I'm currently more interested in is Hillary vs. Cindy. See, at first ya think Cindy is in the Woodruff category, but more and more I'm thinking there is some kind of CGI or something going on there, I wouldn't put it past the rightwing. Half the time she looks really hot in a way way waaaaaaaaaaaaay the fuck back three shot, like beergoggled to the millionth degree, then they do the close up and she looks like Benny Hill's sidekick. I can't figure it out, but it is really annoying. I think for the ads and for Faux "news spots" they use a double stand in and some photoshop or something, hell they prolly just use her daughter for the long shots, I wouldn't put it past the sickos in the widestance-pageboy-promking sleazegate party.

You can say what you want about Hil's pant suits and her age lines, she's at least real. Ya, she's a bitch, she's power hungry, not above low ball politics, perhaps even racist, but it is all out there. I'm afraid, no terrified of another Nancy Reagan with her horoscopes running the country with a deranged Manchurian candidate on Alzheimer drugs. Sure, sure, Eleanor ran the country, but McCain is no FDR (that's for damn sure) and I really don't want to ever find out what Cindy McCain is really about.

I know I'll take a lot of shit for even suggesting Cindy McCain is beergoggle hot from 100 paces (even if she is scary as hell up close) and for suggesting I'd hit Hil (even knowing she's the white-trash-race-bating bitch she is, age lines pants suits and all) but if you were to choose between being trapped on a desert island with either of them at least you know Hil can hold a conversation, I mean neither of them are Selma Hayek or Kim Kardashian, you're certainly not choosing them for their looks.

Of course the whole thing is moot, but it makes for interesting (albeit sleazy) conversation.

Now the French, Carla Bruni, they've got the right idea. (Too bad Sarkozy is an impotent petulent kiss ass though.)

I have to agree, Andrea is pretty damn busted. Almost very tranny like to me. Quite scary when i watch her on TV. I have no clue who woodruff is but I am putting my chips on her. Do not think too many people could get much worse than Andrea in the looks department.

I'm completely with you on this one Tigger.  At times Cindy has sex appeal, though on closer examination, I want to run for the hills.  I don't get it - she's only 54 and by now she should of found a decent foundation that doesn't melt away.

Now to your Hillary versus Cindy island question.  Immediatly I went with Cindy based on looks and personality, but on second thought I'd probably go with the Hillster.  Once we got to know each other, it could be fun - you know, like those dinner parties she's having for her donors.  We could climb trees, make forts, and talk politics.  Now if Cindy's bringing the Budweiser, we're having a completely different conversation.

That's the subtext the republicans are selling, John McCain is some sort of steel jawed pro footbal coach, I can just see him on the sideline with a baseball cap up high, his jaw clenched, a red sweatervest. And Cindy McCain is Deav Wormer's wife that ya wanna knock on the side. It might have worked 20, 30 years ago. She's a fucking corpse, she's disgusting, look at her closely in a two shot. Man you can have yer kegger with pretty in pink all day long, no thank you.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son.

Verna Bloom

Fuck her. Fuck her brains out. Suck her tits, squeeze her buns. You know she wants it.

Otter: Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests - we did.

[winks at Dean Wormer]

Otter: But you can't hold a whole fraternity responsible for the behavior of a few, sick twisted individuals. For if you do, then shouldn't we blame the whole fraternity system? And if the whole fraternity system is guilty, then isn't this an indictment of our educational institutions in general? I put it to you, Greg - isn't this an indictment of our entire American society? Well, you can do whatever you want to us, but we're not going to sit here and listen to you badmouth the United States of America. Gentlemen!

I think you may of misconstrued my Budweiser comment to mean that I might make it happen with Cindy.  The answer is no even with a ten foot pole – now with a twenty foot pole that conversation could turn sexual, but I draw the line there.  Also her uncanny resemblance to that alien in Mars Attacks would definitely creep me out on the island, therefore making the free beer a necessity if that option was elected.

This is pretty easy for me - Judy.  On a separate note, apart from their appearance, I don't get how Judy goes from NewsHour (which is supposed to be and actually is a decent, serious news broadcast) to CNN (which is a joke) and then back to NewsHours.  On the other hand, I will admit, her show on CNN (Inside Politics) was better than the average CNN show.

That I lumped Judy in with Andrea, especially after finding out they're the same age.  Obviously Judy's the prettier woman (Miss Augusta Junior Miss 1963), however, I thought Andrea had some years on her.  Either way, I feel completely disgusted after finding out that Andrea's married to Greenspan.

In regards to your comments, I actually really liked Judy on Inside Politics.  I know NewsHour is by far the better news show compared to most of the junk on cable news, but for some reason I just can't get myself to flip the station over to PBS.  I don't how much more campaign crap/blabber I can take, so maybe I'll be seeing more of Judy in the future.

Dave, we've disagreed on a few subjects. Man, you HATE main stream media. I have to plead ignorance on this one, I didn't even know she was on CNN. See, I feel like I'm less informed because I get most of my news from the web and the NY Times and PBS, I feel like I don't watch CNN and MSNBC enough (really like once a month now, watching more and more video online). On the other hand I do feel like I get more first source whether it is reading the PDF links on the Times or watching CSPAN or reading the bills on Thomas.loc.gov but I still feel out of the loop for not watching enough cable. But it isn't even an issue of cable vs network TV, I feel out of the loop for not being into things like the Office. I don't know.

But you know what, ya you are very bitter, ya you hate the main stream media. But you did something about it, you got off your ass and decided to produce a GREAT show and you've probably effected more lives than you could know, so I guess you have a right to talk trash.

Hmmm, there are several aspects of this post that either confuse me or with which I just disagree.

First, what are the several subjects on which I have disagreed with tiggerporn? My impression was that I like his posts.

Leave aside whether I hate the mainstream media or not, what in my comment would trigger tigger to exclaim how much I hate the MSM?  I just called CNN a joke, which isn't that extreme of a comment.  I bet 85% of the people who post here would agree.

Third, I don't hate the mainstream media with the same intensity the way others here do.  For the most part the MSM is no good (I made this comment in another thread earlier today), but it's up to the consumer of information to discern what's quality and what isn't.  If there are 100 outlets in the MSM, and 5 of them are good, then fine, I focus on those 5 and I get plenty of good information.  To me, the valuable part of the MSM is those five outlets, and that's good enough.

Fourth, I didn't start the Young Turks, Cenk did.

Fifth, had I started it, I certainly WOULD NOT have had the intention of an alternative to the MSM. That is not my thing.

Sixth, the man who did start the Young Turks, Cenk Uygur, started it from the point of view that the media had an overall liberal bias.  I am not talking about Ronald-Reagan-loving Cenk Uygur from the 80s to mid 90s, I'm talking about Cenk Uygur ca. 2002.

Seven, the Young Turks was started in part as a way to bypass the grunt work so that Cenk (and Ben)could get onto the mainstream media without first having to be local TV news reporters in Wichita, KA.  Except Ben was a local TV news reporter years ago, and it turns out that really is the stepping stone to greater positions.

Eight, I don't watch the Office either, but I do think it's funny and clever.

I only need one reason to be "into the Office" and that reason is Mindy Kaling!  Hot damn, I find Mindy amazing on so many levels and when she makes her brief appearances on "The Office", it's so golden.   What is it about that LA bitchiness mixed with the right amount of intellect that drives a man crazy?  I'm not one for human birthing in this day and age, but Mindy, you are of the one of the few that could have my love child any day of the week.

In TV history is the:

Jim: Whats going on with you.

Kelly: I just told you.

I use that scene to make points all the time in real life.

she was hot.

If you meant her character is entertaining, then yes. Although obviously in real life she'd be annoying.
