Obama: GOP takes "pride in being ignorant"

Google Technorati del.icio.us digg reddit

And I love it.

Obama needs to do more of this. It's not negative, it's just hard-hitting calling them out on their bullshit honesty of the sort Cenk suggested yesterday.

I assume everyone agrees?

absolutely brilliant.   If Obama keeps talking like that, it will definitely put the Republicans in their place.  Everybody knows that what the Repubs are doing is so silly. And it's soooo old school.

I'll be curious to see how the MSM is spinning this today and in coming days.

Has anyone seen any CNN/MSNBC coverage of this today? What's the pundit take?  The most entertaining will be the Fox take, unless they just ignore it.

I just saw this on Sam Seder's blog.  The press just can't shake their old love of McCain.  He can do no wrong.  All of these excuses they make for him, just try to imagine them ever saying things like this in Obama's favor.  Yeah, he must have been "misled" about what Obama said.  That's it.  What a fucking joke.

Talk about straight talk, too bad its McC's motto. The ignorant "spiel" is playing out nicely at the moment with the rep. congress men stamping their feet in indignation over the "drill now drill" proposal. Any questioning about the issue is answered with a reassertion of the drilling mantra, and no substance.

And no one notices that its not certain how much oil they'll find, how soon, or if the market would actually react beneficially, given the explosive developement it asian demand. Furthermore domestically drilled oil is not cheaper.
