After World War II the world said never again.  After Rawanda the world said never again.  But sadly it is happening again.  What is it you ask?  A world crime called genocide.

Genocide as defined by wikipedia.com is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.

In 1948 the  Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (CPPCG) — which defined the crime of genocide under international law.

It was defined then sixty years ago that Genocide is an International crime.  And yet here we are in the year 2008 and these crimes continue to be allowed.  George Bush declared in 2004 that Genocide has been commited in the Darfur region of Sudan and what has been done about it?  Other then the disgusting low coverage recently what has our media shown us?  Martha Stewart recieved more news coverage the year she was tried and found guilty then Darfur.

Our country and our media continue to lie to us.  They continue to hide the true fact about world from us.  People Magazine recently put out an issue on new's stands full of pictures of "famous" people's babies.  But what about the babies in Darfur who are starving to death?  Their father's slaughtered and mothers raped in front of their eyes?  When are we as an american people going to stand up with our consititional right of free speech and give voice to those who have none?

Its time we took a stand and in order to see some change in our country and others is to elect a new form of leadership.  A leader who has stood up and said these crimes should not continue.  That leader is Barack Obama.  Please dont take me for my word.  See for yourself.  http://obama.senate.gov/pod cast/060215-darfur_current/

Right up until you turned this little entry into an Obama commercial... "Vote for Obama or burn in Hell for not caring about Darfur" - Yeah, that's a great way to sway the independent vote!!! Man, Ken buddy, the freaks are really startin to come out of the woods now!!! :)

"Heh, Obama sucks!!!  You guys are drinking the Kool Aid!!!  Right Ken?  Right?  Ken buddy...?  Please validate me...  You're my only friend (even if you do think I'm racist)..."

In fact, if I threw in something about hating illegals, it would sound pretty much like every bobo comment.

Since I see this is your first post moonlilly, welcome to the TYT community.  Shake these haters off.

waiting to help some unfortunate brutalized, starving soul in deepest darkest Africa when all of the sudden I realized it was all a sham, a shill for the Obama campaign.

Using the Absolute Tragedy and Human Suffering of the Darfur situation to promote a candidacy is pathetic and low... If Obama wanted to do something about it, why not bring up legislation in the Senate - oh thats right, Obama barely had his foot in the door before he left to run for president....

Thats change we can believe in!

People like you, Spence, are insufferable. You really dont get it, do you?

BTW, welcome to TYT Moonlilly - when you stop using poor judgement in shilling for a candidate, I'll stop responding in kind. Thanks!!!

If you are disappointed with Barak for being in Congress for four years and not proposing a bill on Darfur, you must be absolutely disgusted with McCain who has been in Congress for 26 years and has proposed legislation on pretty much nothing he is now running on, like say allowing offshore drilling.

"I just like Obama less."  Can I ask why?  Do you think McCain would be better for the country?  I know this sounds like the most simple question of all time, but seriously, why?  McCain co-penned the bill that was going to grant "amnesty" to those dag burn illegals that you hate so much.  So what is it about McCain that makes you like him more?

"But I can assure you that under no circumstances would I ever vote for that conniving letch McCain. The man is fucking nuts and he needs to be put down like the sick little animal that he is. Somebody needs to wipe that VC eatin grin off his ugly skin cancer victim face of his." - bobo

That's the guy you like more?  You're crazy.
