    If you're like me, reading the opinion/letters to the ed. page can drive you crazy. So get in there, and put another progressive point of view on the page. We may own the blogosphere, but it sometimes seems like there's a continuous letter writing campaign being staged by conservatives.

    And maybe there is, but most editorial staffs have not yet been completely outsourced to Bangalore, and they'll give your letter a fair shake (not that Bangaloris wouldn't). They can't print every submission, but keep trying. Just, as Cenk would say, Calm Down, sound level headed, put a fine polish on your favorite point, and you'll get published.

    Odds are you'll be cursed by a lot of crotchety old right-wing cranks, which you can read about, and answer back to, if you register on the paper's site. But I think you'll also bolster and inspire the rational, and all too quiet, casual American politcal observer (whose head explodes when reading the letters page).

Now if I could only find something intelligent to say...  Maybe my first submission can be my "Hulk Hogan Endorses Obama" thread, or maybe that old favorite "Lanny Davis Has Sand In His Diaper".  Decisions decisions... 

But really, most of the posts on this site are about 200 times more informative and well written than the things I see in my letters section.  You folks should go to it.
