I think it's actually extremely disrespectful to Iraqis, who have to live in a shot to pieces Iraq, when Americans are crowing how things are going well.

saw a little video about "well" a couple of days ago on MSNBC: water mostly down, a great day has 4 hours of electricity, schools down, hospitals down, 80% unemployment, 5 million people lost their house, a couple million fled the country, 200.000-500.000 are dead, infrastructure in general blown to pieces... but yeah the surge worked and all is well in Babylon, it's a real land of milk and honey

the easy with which the supporters of this war go over the Iraqis' pain is borderline unhuman, it's like they don't see Iraqis as being 100% human, 2/3  human maybe? ooh wait, they are actually very consistent, the colorful people from New Orleans got the same treatment

don't know what to call it exactly in the case of the Iraqis, racist doesn't really cover it correctly: it's a small part skin color, it's a big part religion, but the biggest part is that they're not Americans, they're just foreigners, not part of the über nationality if you will.

There's probably not one Iraqi family that didn't loose anyone in this war, when do the Iraqis get their justice?
300 million Americans flipped out over 3000 deaths, 20 million Iraqis had to swallow 200.000-500.000 deaths, that's what, everyone American is worth 66-166 Iraqi lives???
There's no need for massive blood vengeance, there's no need that more citizens die over this, whether they be Iraqi or American,  JUST PUT THE WAR CRIMINALS IN JAIL, we need new Nuremberg trials and the accused are this Washington leadership.
If justice doesn't prevail in this, America will not reclaim it's good name for decades, it will just be seen as the biggest hypocrit on the planet (at best). This also applies to Obama if he becomes President, if he doesn't prosecute the Bush crimes, he's no better than those people who said "witr haben es nicht gewusst".

If I'm still writing this down, it means I have not given up hope, don't proof me wrong
