I'm down for $25 as soon as I finish this post but the problem is this: no one but them knows how much they need. I'm sure if they are ten bucks short of target they'll still go, but what are the factors involved...
* If they only get half of what they need, do they only go to 1 of the conventions?
* If they only get a tenth, will Cenk just drive out in the Pontiac with a camcorder and tape the interviews Blair-Witch-style (complete with snot dripping from Lieberman's nose)?
* If they don't get enough and skip the conventions, does the money they collected go to paying off Hillary's campaign debt?
* If they somehow get more than they need, am I paying for hookers and blow for Dave Koller (again)?
It would be great if we could have some sort of goal number on the site, or at least updates on how much they still need. Because we need to get them there. I hate to get all PBS-member-drive on y'all, but it is a great cause and we know The Young Turks need our support for this one.
